This 3 hour bike tour will show you the real Bangkok. Highlights of the tour are the exploration of Chinatown’s narrow alleyways, markets and backstreets as well as the charming local areas of Thonburi.
Starting in the heart of Chinatown, the bike-ride explores its frenetic market environment. Winding through narrow alleyways, your senses come alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of a community in motion. You’ll pass by shophouses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture centuries in the making.
Crossing the Chao Phraya River with majestic views of the city skyline behind us, you visit Thonburi, the historic third capital of Thailand. Contrasting chaotic Chinatown, peaceful elements of local Thai life abound as the tour goes through diverse residential communities. Inquisitive smiles and friendly greetings reinforce the feeling the tour has truly left the “beaten path” and are now experiencing the real Bangkok.
This is a great way to see Bangkok. Our tour guides Lily and Ming were extremely professional, friendly and informative and did a great job of keeping us safe. We traveled down all the backstreets and sampled lots of local food. A must do in Bangkok!

What a wonderful idea to explore Bangkok by bike. We enjoyed it. The only bad part was that my sandals slip quite a lot, you must wear tekkies/sneakers. It would be helpful if they put that in their broschure. Apart from that no other negativity. Our guide knew what to do and kept us informed. A defnitely yes fpr this one.

The bike ride was an unforgettable way to see Bangkok and our tour guides were knowledgeable and attentive. They were superb with our younger children, ages 7 and 10. We cycled about 10k in total trough the winding backstreets, visited the flower market and a wonderful temple with a sitting Buddha.

Excellent tour with extremely helpful guides. This is a tour to see the real life of Bangkok - food markets, pray in a small temple with the locals, learn to peel and eat the Thai fruit. See how the the different ethnic groups live and work together. The initial riding stage does require a degree of cycling expertise to navigate the narrow passageways so be warned that walking your bike may be the best way to proceed at first. The ride does get easier.

The bike tour was great! It was professionally run, and our tour guide and security bike guard were incredibly informative and helpful. This tour went through Bangkok's Chinatown, Ancient City and other areas. We biked through beautiful scenic routes and visited a buddhist temple. We took a boat to cross to the Ancient City and biked through it a bit before having a snack and learning more about our location. Everything was perfectly orchestrated, and solo travellers were able to meet other travellers. Wonderful experience!

Was the 2nd time that we made this city Tour by bike. It's amazing how close you come to the local people, how friendly the people are. In one word: amazing. Everybody which wants to see something from Bangkok should book a bike trip with Co van Kessel in Bangkok
