Enjoy a bicycle ride through the lush, green oasis known as "The Lungs of Bangkok" on silky-smooth, one-of-a-kind bamboo bicycles designed for comfort.  Cycle on small roads and meter-wide, elevated paths that thread though a jungle-like environment.  Discover old temples, quaint villages, and peaceful parks, while learning about the history and culture of the area from your knowledgeable, English-speaking guide.  Literally a stone's throw from surrounding Bangkok, but seemingly a world away.

After arrival at our meeting point, which is convenient to the Skytrain station, you will meet your tourguide who we will escort you across the river by longtail boat to our base in the Lungs of Bangkok. You'll receive a locally-made welcome drink, hear a short briefing, and meet your guide and get acquainted with your bamboo bicycle.

We will then begin cycling on meter-wide, elevated concrete paths through the local community, passing quaint houses on stilts, temples, and other attractions as we cycle around the island. You'll then arrive at a peaceful nature park, where we'll take a break and have a refreshing beverage and a snack. After a ride around the park, we'll head to one of the least-developed parts of the island where you'll feel like you're deep in a lush jungle, even though Bangkok is literally just a few hundred meters away. We'll come out at another temple on the river on the opposite side of the island from where we started. Looking across the river, you'll see the stark contrast between the concrete jungle of Bangkok and the natural jungle of the Lungs.

We then turn back inland and see a couple more temples along quiet roads and enter more lush areas with shaded elevated paths until arriving at yet another temple where there is a weekend market and a beautiful example of a traditional Thai-style house.  After that, we'll cycle through a forest park, then along a scenic canal before arriving back at our base.  After being refreshed, we'll escort you back across the river and can help you arrange transportation to your hotel or the nearby Skytrain station.
