Half-Day Bangkok City and Temples Tour
Bangkok, Thailand
Discover the bustling city of Bangkok with this exciting 4 hour tour exploring 3 stunning temples. See the Golden Buddha statue at Wat Traimit, visit the magnificent Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and admire the beautiful architecture at the Marble Temple.
We take you to 3 of the most stunning temples Bangkok has to offer on this 4 hour tour. If you are interested in learning more about Buddhism and its history, as well as experiencing the busy city life, this tour is for you.
Discover Wat Traimit with its 5.5-tonne Golden Buddha statue before exploring Wat Pho, boasting the 43-meter long Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is regarded as the first center of public education and is sometimes called Thailand’s first university. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on varied subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, and meditation. Wat Pho is also considered home of the traditional Thai massage.
You will end the tour with a visit to Wat Benchamabophit (the Marble Temple). This temple represents an outstanding combination of Italian Carrara marble and classical Thai architecture.
We felt that we were rushed due to tour guide's time constraints and we did not get to see some places.

The trip does not cover much in the City. It is just Temples Tour. It was also much shorter in time than what we were told.

We enjoyed our guide, Ole, very much. He was very knowledgeable and his English was pretty good there were only a few times we had any trouble understanding him. We were picked up almost 40 minutes early, which was good because of the traffic glad we were ready and waiting. All three temples were magnificent and each different. At the end of the third temple we were given the choice of where we wanted to be dropped off - we decided to be brought back to the hotel, but could have picked anywhere else.
