Half-Day Bangkok Rice Barge and Longtail Boat Cruise

Cruise down the Chao Phraya River and winding canals of Bangkok on board an authentic long-tailed speedboat. Watch the everyday lives of the local Thai community. Then cruise peacefully back at sunset, on board a converted rice barge.
Following a hotel pickup and transfer, climb aboard a speedy long-tail boat for a join cruise down the Chao Phraya River and along the winding canals (klongs), viewing the local Thai community going about their daily lives on this 4-hour sightseeing tour by water.
Then sail back to the city center on board a comfortable, converted rice barge, enjoying seasonal fruits and unlimited cold drinks as you cruise. Drift quietly along the Chao Phraya River as the sun sets over Bangkok, passing some of the capital’s renowned landmarks, such as the royal Grand Palace and the temple of Wat Arun, as well as the city’s luxury riverside hotels.
Enjoyed the water travel once we were on the boat. Finding the checkin was somewhat difficult. Some kind of Viator sign or Asia World sign would have been helpful. Enjoyed the fruit buffet on the second half of the cruise.

Tour guide wasnt courteous at all. At few instances, we felt she was quite rude in fact. _br/_ Firstly her accent wasnt quite clear. When we asked her to speak clearly or slowly, she just rudely replied, if you are unable to hear, go behind and sit. Is she my teacher or something? I have interacted with many tour guides, but no one this rude or disinterested. Also, she seemed to be more interested in interacting only with the other couple on the tour and not once do we remember her making an effort to interact with us, though we were 3 adults on the tour._br/_ However the positive of this tour, was the cruise was quite nice and enjoyed the variety of fruits available. If for a better tour guide I think we would have had a pleasant experience. Also, you need to do something about the volume of the speaker system.

.was reasonably good except majority of people could not understand the guide whose English needed to be much better. The ladies with me were disappointed and several others expressed there disappointment. Van driver drove extremely erratic.

Trip was not as long as advertised was only 2 hours long in total. They only take you a short distance down one canal before turning around to head back to the main river. Very disappointing.

The tour was very well run and enjoyable, however there were two problems._br/_ 1. The confirmation email requested that I phone a Bangkok number to confirm hotel pick-up. Upon calling the listed number the person answering the phone did not know anything about the tour. Another email gave an USA phone number to call if there were any problems._br/_ I replied to the confirmation email pointing out this problem but, as yet, have not received a reply._br/_ 2. The tour information states: '... on this 4-hour sightseeing tour by water' and 'Drift quietly along the Chao Phraya River as the sun sets over Bangkok'. The tour started at 2:30pm and finished at 4:30pm 2 hours not 4 hours. We certainly did not see any 'sunset'.
