Loy Nava Rice Barge Dinner Cruise Including Transfers from Bangkok
Bangkok, Thailand
Cruise the Chao Praya River through the cultural heart of Bangkok, aboard a luxury rice barge. Dine on traditional Thai cuisine with flavors from around the nation and experience Thai hospitality and culture at its finest, with this 4 hour river cruise.
Cruise along the Chao Phraya River, aboard an antique, teak wood, rice barge called the “Tahsaneeya Nava”. Feast on superb Thai cuisine as you drift along the “River of Kings,” experiencing Thai hospitality from the comfort and tranquility of the open-air cruise.
Constructed of solid hand-carved and polished golden teak, the “Tahsaneeya Nava” was built at a time when such raw materials were abundant in Thailand. It remains one of the few authentic antique rice barges operating on the Chao Phraya River, and the 2-hour dinner cruise will take you back to a less hurried time.
You will be welcomed on board with a rose-water sprinkling ceremony and jasmine garland presentation. Then, enjoy the subtle spices of a superlative range of traditional Thai dishes, including an assortment of hot and cold canapés. End with a delightful platter of traditional Thai desserts and fresh fruit.
The meal service is very quick, lots of small plates but ear quickly especially the warm food! Not enough time to chat to fellow guests over a welcome drink!

This was a very good evening. We ended up having a private cruise as we were the only guests on the early tour for that evening. The musician and dancers were very entertaining and the food was excellent with a very wide selection, which you could have more if you wanted but we were given adequate for us. Would recommend this tour.

Really good dinner cruise apart from the pickup from the hotel when our tour guide made us stop at a clothes factory where we were set upon by some very pushy sales people - almost ruined the evening.

Food was good, there was plenty and they will give you more if you want. Thai traditional dancers and Thai instrument player were nice entertainment during the ride. Overall good cruise on the Chao Phraya river
