Nanta is a comic non-verbal musical show derived from the traditional Korean instrumental performance Samulnori. With a kitchen as its background, knives and other utensils are transformed into musical instruments in the hands of the performers. The chefs thrill the audience with acrobatic cooking shows, a surprise wedding ceremony, and an exciting dumpling challenge. Nanta is being absolutely recommended for tourists.
For an action packed stage show like nothing else in Bangkok the comedy chefs in Cookin’ Nanta will amaze and delight all ages. ‘Nanta’ is a Korean word to mean strike relentlessly, and throughout this non-verbal theatrical performance, thrilling percussion music is created using everything from traditional Korean water drums to cooking utensils like chef’s whisks and carving knives. The nonstop rhythmic percussion is complemented by hilarious facial expressions and a little help from the audience to create a humorous story of a hapless gang of chefs.
The theater company is originally from Korea, but have traveled with this show extensively: from Edinburgh, London and Germany in Europe, to Japan and Singapore in Asia, and even making history as the first Asian production to open its own large-scale theater in New York.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Bangkok and drive to the Bangkok Nanta Theater. The Nanta cooking show begins at approximately 8pm. Return to your hotel in Bangkok approximately 9:45pm to 10:30pm.

A fantastic show by very talented and energetic young people. I laughed till I cried, I was in awe of their talent and enthusiasm._br/_ I cannot recommend this enough. I would advise getting a taxi to RCA Building. I popped into the supermaket near by to ask for directions and the guy stacking shelves actually took us to the steps.

this was a great show, but the VIP service I paid extra for picked us up almost 3 hours early and we got to the show over 2 hours early, with nothing to do but wander around the area. While it was very convenient to have the ride waiting after the show, it was uncomfortable being there so early. The show was high energy and fun, great for the whole family, but pretty packed, even on a Sunday night, when we went.

I was very disappointed as there was no shuttle bus service booked for us. In the description says there is free shuttle service and we spent so much time travelling to Rama 9 mrt station to wait for the bus, but there was no bus. When we arrived, we then get to know we have to book the bus.

The show was great! We had the middle seats on the second row, which allowed us to see clearly what's happening on stage. The performers on the show were so charismatic, we all had fun! One point to note is that as the location is not close to BTS or MRT stations, it'd be better if you arrange the pick-up ride or get a taxi.
