The Grand Palace - imposing, but masses of tourists so hard to see things, and virtually no shade in very hot conditions. Would recommend this earlier in the day. Also saw Flower Market and Jim Thompson's house - lovely old teak building, interesting 30 minute guided tour inside, then lunch at the good Jim Thompson restaurant on same site. The gift shop items were very expensive. A rather expensive tour overall.

Although the company did not get our start time correct - we had a good tour of Bangkok. We were able to hit all the things I wanted to see. Based upon the previous reviews I was hoping the company especially our tour guide would have recommended some things to see. The reviews stated that other tour guides were more personable and had great suggestions for things to see or do. While our tour guide Jean was fine and he did his job - he took me where I wanted to go and provide good detail - I would hoping for some suggestions. We had plenty of time left over but he didn't make any suggestions on other things to see or do. He didn't really have a good spot for lunch like many of the other reviewers stated about their guides. Again, he did his job and it was fine but I was expecting better.

Great tour and guide. We were lucky enough to have Oil as our guide. She tailored to our specific needs and answered any questions we had. She was also able to make changes on the fly if traffic or crowds were too much. We would not have survived all the sites, let alone the Grand Palace.

We spent a full day out with our guide May. He took us to the Grand palace, temples and on a river tour. We had a great day, definitely wouldn't have achieved all of this if we had tried to organise ourselves. May was very flexible with the agenda, a great tour guide.

Dew was a fabulous guide. When she asked what wed like to do for the day, we told her wed like to see the main attractions - Palace and temples - and then let her recommend what wed enjoy the most. We had an amazing day, and saw parts of Bangkok wed never have discovered on our own. She provided lots of information about the sights and history of Bangkok, but also about the current lifestyle. Her English was good and she had a great sense of humour. Thanks to Dew, we had an unforgettable day.

I absolutely loved this tour! It was a brilliant way to see Bangkok. I was able to make a list of everything I wanted to see and do, and my guide determined the best way to make it all happen. My guide for the day was Nina. She met me at my hotel and she was so friendly and easy to get along with, I instantly loved her. It was like having a friend show me around their city, and I definitely couldn't have seen everything I wanted to as easily if she hadn't been with me. Having her there to navigate the public transportation, purchase tickets, speak Thai to the locals, use secret entrances, give me the history of all the temples and sites, explain the local customs, encourage me to try foods in the local market, and just generally be my friend-for-the-day was so cool. She even suggested some additional things to see that she figured out I would like, such as the flower market, and the river-front restaurant she chose for our lunch was the perfect blend of casual atmosphere and tasty food. By the end of the day, we were having a drink in Starbucks like old friends and I was sad to hug her goodbye when she dropped me off back at my hotel. Nina was 100 the reason I enjoyed my day in Bangkok so much, and I very much appreciated her accommodating my off-hours tour it was from 11am until 7pm, as those were the hours I was available, even though she had another tour early the next morning. We had a great time roaming around Bangkok. During our original booked date, it was the day where the everyone was mourning for King Rama IX burial. No tourist attraction was open. We asked if we can rebook our tour, they rebooked it on an agreed date. No Hassle. I could have not imaging roaming around the temples without Jean Our Tour Guide Very informative and cool guy. If not with him, we will just look on the beauty of the temples without knowing the story behind it. He brought us to a place where we had our best pad thai and tom yum! Highly Recommended! If you can request specifically for Jean,Go for it!

Had a really great tour with Poy on 5/10/2017 - she showed me so much! Poy was interested in what I wanted to see and tailored the whole 8 hours to suit my interests. We saw so much via train, boat, tuk tuk and on foot. The information she imparted about Thai culture and every day life will stay with me forever. I really appreciated all her care from the day, which enabled me to move around all the different transport and other attractions she had recommended, all on my own for the rest of my trip. This tour was amazing! I got to see so much of Bangkok. My guide, Oil, was so great, the best. I wanted to see the Grand Palace before the crowds. I also wanted to see as many temples as possible. She planned it out so well and I saw everything and she gave great information and takes amazing pics too

My guide was absolutely amazing. Trin Dew really made me feel like I was touring Bangkok with a friend. I got way more than my money's worth with this one. Dew was extremely knowledgeable, kind, courteous and fun. One of the things I like the most about this tour was that my guide listened to what I wanted. I told him that wanted to see as much as of Bangkok as possible with the time we had. He made sure of that. I don't mind walking or taking public transportation. He made sure that I used every form of public transportation Bangkok had to offer plus we walked a good twelve miles. I really feel like I got to see the best of what Bangkok had to off all in one day.

I've done tours via Viator all over the world. This tour was just a bit below average. Although the tour guide was nice, she was not very informative regarding history and details about places we visited.Several of the places visited were tours self guided whereas I was directed to go through the buildings myself while the guide waited for me outside. Also, the guide would walk way ahead of me most times which was very frustrating. She almost lost me in some of the crowds. As the day wore on, her energy seemed to wane. She was not as vivacious as when we first started. It seemed she was more concerned about finishing the tour. Because I am very generous, I tipped her problalby more than most people would...However, I would not recommend this private tour for the money it cost. The tour ended up being mostly having someone helping you get from point A to point B...A driver could have done the same thing for me.

Our guide, Joker. was there at 6:30 am when we arrived by train to Bangkok. He was super friendly, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I normally wouldn't do something like this as I sort of have a DIY attitude. I figured I only had one day in Bangkok and it would be worth getting the most out of the day. That's exactly what happened. Joker used EVERY minute effectively. He charted a course through the city, hitting unknown spots on the way. At the grand Palace he explained things we NEVER would have understood without him. We used the river boats as public transportation and ate in the street market, both of which kept our costs down. I really can't say enough for the joker. He was an amazing guide. THANK YOU JOKER!

Our guide Elena was amazing. She was very friendly, personable and engaging. We let her know where we wanted to go and she also suggested other places. She arranged for a longtail boat ride which was quite nice. We toured the King's Palace, the Jim Thompson House, Wat Pho home of the Reclining Buddha, some other interesting spots and we even asked about tailors. She suggested and tailor which we went to while on the tour because it was beginning to rain. The tailor, James International made a suit, three shirts, a woman's suit and dress in about two days. She gave us some advice along the way. We took various forms of transportation during the tour but this made it great fun. The entire tour she talked about Thai culture and provided us with history of the area. Spending a day with Elena became like three friends hanging out. We enjoyed her company and she did a great job in ensuring that our tour was one of the best experiences that we had in Thailand. _br/_ She really went out of her way to make sure that a private tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I wasn't prepared with a list of places to visit, assumed the guide would offer suggestions. So unfortunately, we spent 25minutes coming up with an itinerary, then did not have enough activities to do to fill the entire day without costing overtime. Very expensive day when factoring in the costs associated with paying for the guide's lunch, taxis, trains, boat rides and admission to attractions.

We were met by our local guide 'king' who was spot on time. He was happy to follow our pre planned itinerary and facilitated our tour perfectly, making sure we saw the things we wanted to see wit a minimum of fuss. This made sure we were able to to and see things we would not have had the confidence to do on our own, this also made sure we paid the correct prices._br/_ We caught the riverboat and followed this up with a long tailed boat trip to a fantastic market where we enjoyed a great lunch of local fish at a great price._br/_ I cannot recommend this young man highly enough, very good English, great sense of humour and extremely helpful.

Keng gave me a great day in Bangkok. We saw everything I wanted to see, which included some tourist sites and local places like markets. He was very knowledgeable and easy to spend time with. We got around with the Sky Train, walking, taxis, and tuk-tuks. It was wonderful to have someone who could not only give me loads of information, but help to navigate this busy city.

One of the best fun days of my stay. My guide a young gentleman----FANTASTIC met me at the hotel and we took the skytrain to the Chatuchak Weekend Market early in the morning, to avoid the crowds. We went to section 8 Crafts and I purchased some very nice souvenirs for great prices and roamed around to see all the sights. A must do if you are in Bangkok on the weekend. We then went by cab to Chinatown which was just jammed with people for it was the Saturday before Chinese New Year. After a brief stay we went by cab to a very nice shopping mall for lunch of American burgers and fries and shopped there for a while and then back to the hotel by skytrain. My guide and I cannot remember his name was fantastic helping me bargain for things in the market and carried all my goodies that I purchased and had a great sense of humor. What an experience I had in Bangkok! We explored this magical city by eating our way through a river market, having lunch with Wat A run in the distance, motorcycling through a back street, and ending it with shopping at Chatuchak Market! I loved the day and we filled every part of it with sights and tastes and people that cement why Bangkok is such a special place.

My guide is what made this tour a 5-star tour. His name is Wallop Kittiwititkun and goes by the name 'Joker'. He was agreeable to everything I wanted to do and see including walking the entire day in 95 degree fahrenheit heat and humidity. He was affable, humorous and a wealth of information. I asked our guidE Dew to take us on a walking tour of Bangkok BUT I did not want to go where tourists usually go. She gave me one of the best walking tours I have ever had and trust me I have taken a lot in Asia over the last five years. Via tour has offices around the worLd and have used there services in Aasia Europe and USA. have always been happy with the quality of guides they work with . But this was one of the best ever She arrived on time and actually stayed with us past the ending time. We visited temples that were off the beaten track and so enjoyed I can only suggest if you can ask for a guide that Dew is on your list
