Located behind the National Assembly in Bangkok, the Vimanmek Museum is also known as the “Palace in the Clouds,” and is the world's largest golden teakwood mansion. On this 4-hour tour you will explore the museum complex, home to the treasures that King Chulalongkorn collected on his trips to Europe.

The 3-storey palace contains 81 rooms, including halls and ante-chambers. Removed from Ko Si Chang in Chonburi Province, it was rebuilt in the Dusit Palace in 1900 by the command of King Rama V. Many rooms maintain the atmosphere of the past.

Most of the buildings are now used as museums, including the outstanding Abhisek Dusit Hall, where you will find exhibits of Queen Sirikit's collection of masterful handicrafts created by rural people. Discover art objects that include the photography of King Bhumibol, as well as paraphernalia and portraits, ancient cloth, clocks, and royal carriages.
