Thai Dinner and Classical Thai Dance Tour from Bangkok
Bangkok, Thailand
This wonderful evening dinner tour in Bangkok will surround you with a truly Thai ambiance. Sit back and enjoy Thai food and dance.
You will enjoy delicious Thai cuisine whilst your eyes feast on the grace and beauty of the traditional Thai dancers. The performances you will see are mystical dances based on stories from classical Thai literature and folklore. The dancers wear traditional, colorful costumes providing a perfect opportunity for photos.
The tour guide and minivan driver were polite, helpful and friendly._br/_ The Thai dinner and dancing venue was in a large hall with bench-style tables a bit like a cafeteria, and held about 200 people the stage was raised and you could see the dancers from the knees up diners' heads blocked the lower parts and some of the rhythmic footwork._br/_ The dinner meal servings were very small and the hot dishes were not hot: the food was luke-warm and appeared to have been left standing awaiting delivery to the tables._br/_ The classical Thai dancing was good and the costumes were wonderful to see. At the start of the show and for the first two or three dance routines, the dancers were accompanied by an off-stage female singer this singer could not sing and most of her notes were flat and off-key. Once we got past this, the rest of the show was excellent._br/_ In summary, the food was poor and I would not recommend this tour, unless your only interest is the dancing.

Food was good! Dancing was okay, appears as if dancers are in training. Relaxing night out none the less

My nieces and I were very happy with this tour. The Tour Guide found us in the lobby of the hotel with no problem. She was polite. The place they took us to was called the Silom Village Trade Center. It had some very nice shops. The meal was great. The food was very good. They served you at the table. The show was fabulous. The dancers had gorgeous costumes. The guide explained some things about a Thai meal before we ate and that was interesting. Before we started eating she did leave us but told us that she would be waiting for us after the show. After the show, the tour guide was right by the door where we walked out. The whole evening went very smooth. It was all a wonderful experience. Definitely worth what we paid. Thank you very much.

The food was less than stellar and the performance, while fun to see the costumes, the performers were not engaged with the performance and as someone with a performance background I was very disappointed. There were only 2 performers who seemed to genuinely love it.

If I had to go again I would not, neither would I recommend it to anyone. The reason why I gave it a two star was because the tour guide was nice and it was a comfortable and safe ride.

The pickup and drop off went as planned. I with another couple on their honeymoon from China. The show itself was OK, but the music got somewhat redundant. The meal courses were very small and not all that filling. It was neat to see a traditional Thai dance and some nice acrobatics, but I have a feeling a better night is to be had somewhere else with more traditional Thai dancing and a more filling dinner.

Very nicely put together, dinner was great. A little slow for me not what I expected.

Dinner was nice and though our table was off to the side of the stage, we did have freedom to move around and view the dancing, or take photos, from any available table. A sizable chunk of the performance time, however, was a description of the instruments along with an explanation of scenes and other things, so that the actual dancing ended up being around 20-25 minutes. I certainly wish that part of it had been longer.

The visit was well organized. Bit confusion was regarding pickup point.message was kept that meeting point is on Ground floor however should have been in lobby. Other than that an excellent tour. The dance and dinner was great. Thanks.

Nice little show but little disappointing. For the cost of this, I thought would be bigger stage show.

The show and Thai dancing were very enjoyable. The food was not up to the standard but whole evening was worth for the money.

This was just ok. The large room was filled with tourists from just about everywhere around the world and the food served to us was fairly basic. The dancing was just passable and the entertainers appeared not to be enjoying themselves. Each act did not start until a long set of announcements in Thai, French, English and other languages were completed. It was a fairly disappointing evening for me. I was there solo, and was put on a very long table on my own which was quite embarrassing.

This something definitely laid on for the tourists. Entertainment was OK but the food was fairly standard. As with any massed catering for such events some of the dishes arrived cold. Drinks, bought seperately were leaning towards expensive. I am convinved that their must be better events of this type in Bangkok. It was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for!

Despite the tour operator advancing the pick up time (and generally being very efficient) the traffic in Bangkok on the Friday night was so appalling that, since we had to cross town to pick up others from another hotel, we only just arrived in time for the dancing. We thus had to eat at the same time as trying to watch the performance.

Small, more interment than some of the other shows. Good meal, drinks not too expensive.

The cultural part of this tour was good. The Thai dinner was POOR!!! Pick up and return to hotel excellent.

Very Disappointed. Seats are uncomfortable. The meal was disappointing and they charge extra for all the drinks including water (other than tea served at the end). The service was very lousy, they kept forgetting our table. Dancers were beautiful but the entire show was boring. The transportation service was fine, but the dinner and show are not worth the long ride.

Just average

This place was a tourist trap. Don't do it. Indra regent has an equally priced dinner and show at their sala thai that is more intimate, better food and less touristy. The food wasnt all that great. The dancers costumes were beautiful but you had to pay for a photo with them.

Very ordinary show. Food only fair at best. Overal not recommended. At the same place they had a Ladyboy show that seemed to be packed out.

I think the "normal" dinner/dance was not running so Viator booked us for the dinner/dance at the Infra Regent. It was terrific -- the food, the dancing, the atmosphere, and the service. The transfer was on time and efficient.

This Tour was good, the food was nice, would have liked to know what we were eating though. On dish was particularly spicy and we would have liked to have been warned. The dancing seemed to go on forever, maybe the show could be cut a little shorter. A good night was had though.

Nice to see some traditional dance but I felt it was very repetitive and unless you like Thai cuisine you will go hungry.

A very enjoyable evening. The journey to the venue was difficult due to the excessive traffic jams but the driver was good. There was no choice of food at the venue but it was very nice all the same. The dancing was outstanding.

The Thai dance show was nice, but the food was way below what we expected. Extremely plain, almost tasteless. Drinks are not included at all. The Thai boxing presentation seemed like a comedy skit.

The show was very good, and the costumes were beautiful. The meal was not the best we had while traveling in Asia. We felt it could have been better. All in all, it was a good experience and we're glad we took the tour. Picked up & returned to our hotel in a timely fashion.
