Barbados Shore Excursion: Party Cruise and Snorkel Tour with Lunch

Barbados, Barbados

When your cruise ship docks in Barbados, take a snorkeling cruise that includes lunch and an open bar! On board a spacious schooner, head to Carlisle Bay and Payne’s Bay to snorkel over shipwrecks and swim with sea turtles. Then back on the boat, let the good times roll as you walk the plank, swing from ropes and have a dance party with others on board. A barbecue buffet lunch, unlimited drinks including rum punch, and port pickup and drop-off are included.

After disembarking your cruise ship in Barbados, meet your shore excursion crew at the port and head to your schooner, the Jolly Roger, a spacious vessel that provides plenty of space to hang out, including a top deck for sunbathing and shade from the afternoon sun.

Hop aboard and set sail for Carlisle Bay, a marine park where your captain will stop so you can jump in the turquoise water and snorkel over several sunken ships. Then head up the west coast to Payne’s Bay for a chance to swim with sea turtles and feed the tropical fish.

When you’re done snorkeling, enjoy a great party on board the Jolly Roger. Use the rope swing or walk the plank, and feast on a fresh barbecue lunch, cooked to order, including your choice of sirloin steak, grilled tuna or baked chicken. Sides include macaroni pie, vegetable rice, steamed vegetables, tossed salad, corn, coleslaw and garlic bread.

Sip unlimited drinks from the open bar, including the famous Jolly Roger rum punch that will put you in the spirit for a pirate wedding and conga line!

Your shore excursion ends as you are returned to port.

Great experience! Lots of fun, crew was engaging, and the snorkeling and swimming were wonderful. Perfect for families, and we would highly recommend and would do it again!

I was so disappointed in this excursion. First, there was a miscommunication somewhere with time. I have a printed paper saying meet at a round-about at 1030 am. We sat there waiting and at 1045 a very nice taxi driver brought us to where we should be taken because we were never picked up, they reimbursed us for the taxi cab fare but still not being picked up was awful. Second it says in the description you will snorkel with sea turtles. I understand that occasionally they are just not seen for the day. This was not the case, we were told about an hour in to the excursion that it was the wrong season for sea turtles... So they parked the boat in the middle of somewhere and had us snorkel on the side of the boat, but there was nothing to look at but the other passengers jumping off of the boat. I tried to snorkel but there was nothing to look at other than sand at the bottom of the ocean. When I got back on my cruise ship every single other person had swam with sea turtles on their excursion. I was so mad, my excursion didn't even look for them they just parked us in the middle of the ocean and said jump in the water and basically deal with it... I would not recommend this if you want to swim with turtles... I will admit that we did have fun singing and dancing on top of the boat while we had some rum punch but I could have listened to music and drank on a beach somewhere for a lot cheaper. I did not enjoy not being picked up and not even anyone attempting to look for turtles for us. They just said no there are none this time of year, which was apparently a lie, because everyone else swam with them.

On Feb 19, 2017, we had a great time on board the Jolly Roger Ship. The food was great 3 choices salmon, chicken and steak. the drinks were good if you like rum and beer and the sides with the food was good. The first stop for snorkeling was over a sunkin ship and we saw 10-15 different types of fish. they were beautiful. then we ate, cruising to a new location. the ship had a plank which you could jump into the crystal clear Caribbean blue waters. and it also had a rope which you could swing as far out as you could and jump off. it was awesome._br/_ the DJ was always pumping great music and the upper deck was rockin and dancing. All in all we had an awesome time and would do it again when we get to Barbados another day.

Most people from the cruise ship did a snorkel tour in Barbados, but guaranteed no one has more fun than those of us on the Jolly Roger! Snorkeling over the shipwreck and past turtles was absolutely amazing, lunch was delicious, and the drinks are endless. The dance party as we sailed back to port so much fun. Overall, it was a great time.

This cruise is honestly priceless! (And very amazing). We were picked up from our hotel for free, and got more than expected! The food was amazing, and everyone had a great time... If you're looking for something adventurous and extremely fun, I highly recommend this cruise!

The sea turtles were the highlight! I was disappointed that they did not have enough fins for everyone. The current was strong in some places and we all really needed snorkel fins. Also the ladder is tall and completely vertical. At one step you cannot completely put your feet on it. Its dangerous.

We paid CAD$110 approx.each for this excursion. but were disappointed in the snorkeling. A crew member tried to help my wife with her mask at our first dive and that made matters worse. She did not see much there. At the second site neither of us saw many turtles : we both saw one ! Otherwise ever thing else was satisfactory .David and Eileen Lynagh

Great combination of fun and snorkeling. We're very happy we did this on our one day we spent in Barbados.

This was a good trip and the crew were excellent; it is more focused towards the party cruise and those looking for the snorkeling experience only maybe a little disappointed. Carlisle Bay (sunken ship) and Payne’s Bay (sea turtles) are good swimming snorkeling areas, snorkels and masks were provided but no fins. _br/_ All in all our group had an excellent day and we were well taken care of. Viator offer other trips for the snorkeling enthusiast, this is more in turn with those who like the party adventure.
