Sunset Sailing Trip from Barcelona Port Olimpic

The Barcelona Balearics Sailing Association has been founded to offer the opportunity to live the enriching experience of sailing, (enjoying our sunny Mediterranean weather) while becoming conscious of the importance to preserve our beautiful and delicate maritime environment. After leaving the mooring, sail for two and a half hours to enjoy a huge space of fresh-air and silence, just next to the city. Your British built classic long keel sailing vessel is an example of sustainability, balance, and beauty. On board you can participate in the handling of the boat and learn or improve your skills, steer the boat, and trim the sails. You may also opt to just relax and sunbathe.
Hop aboard your sightseeing boat in Barcelona’s Port Olympic, then cruise out onto the waves with your guide. As you leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind, admire sweeping views over the shoreline and enjoy the feeling of the coastal breeze.
During your 2.5-hour cruise, perhaps take the helm and lend a hand in the sailing of the boat. Hoist the mainsail, take the wheel and enjoy the chance to improve your sailing skills. Alternatively, for a more calming experience, simply relax on the sundeck and soak up the rays.
See the city of Barcelona from a new angle. Watch the sun sink on the horizon, then return in comfort to Port Olympic to conclude your cruise.
The co-captains were great and very friendly. We went out about 7 miles and came back to a beautiful sunset. I would recommend this to anyone. If you get sea sick just take some medication and make sure you dress warmly. The weather gets real chilly out there when the sun is going down. My husband even got to steer for a little while and help hoist the sails. Tell the guys hi for me.

We had a huge group of 12 so we had 3 different sailboats which was nice. The overall experience was good but they cut 2 out of 3 boats trips short by an hour. The 3rd boat stayed out the full 3 hours and had a blast. The other 2 boats had to sit and wait for them to get back. Also never got drinks.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Captain Giambattista and Dave on our sail out of Barcelona harbor on 6 July. The winds were great and they made sure our sail was as smooth as possible. They even taught both of our children to sail, as they took turns at the wheel, bringing us out and back to the harbor! We couldn't recommend their boat enough...they were fantastic! This was the best activity we did in Barcelona hands down!
