Evening Barcelona Tapas Walking Tour
Barcelona, Spain
Enjoy this 4-hour gastronomical tour of Barcelona and discover some off-the-beaten-track spots. The guided walking tour consists of four stops, each one at place that is a favorite among locals. Savor Catalan-style tapas, traditional Spanish meat dishes, and pintxos, small bites favored by those in northern Spain.
Meet your local guide at 7pm in the center of Barcelona and get ready for an unforgettable foodie tour.
Together with your guide, walk to the first stop, a traditional bodega where you start with some typical Spanish- and Catalan-style tapas and wine. Ask any questions you may have about Spanish and Catalan cuisine and culture as you continue your tour.
The second stop is at one of Barcelona's most renowned bars for pintxos, typical small snacks that are traditionally eaten in the northern regions of Spain. Walk on to the third stop, a place that is very popular with locals for its typical tapas prepared with fish, meat, and vegetables.
Save room for the final stop, a restaurant that serves typical Spanish and Catalan meat dishes. Now feeling like a real foodie, finish your tour in the city center.
Very boring ! We have have 'tapas walking tours' before, and usually the guide was explaining food or wine, or even history. This lady was plain boring.... It all depends on the guide, so I would not recommend this tour at all.

Great food and wine

This tour is more about the wine and food than the walking. Went to three different restaurants with tapas and wine from three different regions of Spain. Excellent food and wine. Definitely recommend this tour. Could have had a bit more history about the city during our walking. Also suggest that participants are provided a card listing the tapas and wine being tasted so that we can have this information for our memories. Great evening!

Since it was just the 6 of us, instead of everyone getting a full plate of each tapas, it would have been great to have more variety with each of us sharing 3 plates. Like the tour guide and each of the chosen spots.

Gloria was absolutely fabulous, really talkative and insightful. Both myself and my Mum thought there was only one type of tapas but how we were proved wrong!
