Meet your expert guide at Plaça de la Seu in Barcelona, and hop aboard your electric bike – a regular two-wheeled bicycle with an electric motor that kicks in when pedaling! Riding your electric bike is simple, but your guide will deliver a comprehensive safety briefing to put you at ease. Choose from one of three itineraries and then set off sightseeing around town, enjoying frequent stops to hear stories about the landmarks from your guide. All tours finish at the start point.
Gaudi Tour: Pedal behind your guide to visit Parc de la Cuitadella, the site of an old military fortress that Antoni Gaudi helped to turn into a park when he was still a student. Barcelona is famous for its links to the celebrated Modernist architect, and the city is awash with his works. Learn of Gaudi’s life in town, and then cycle to one of his more outlandish creations – the still-unfinished La Sagrada Familia cathedral. After a stop for photos, make your way to Park Güell, parking up to take a stroll along its shady paths, admiring the Gaudi-designed gardens and city views. Finish with a cycle to Passeig de Gràcia to see two famous Gaudi buildings: Casa Batllo and the equally intriguing Le Pedrera.
Bohemian Neighborhoods Tour: Cycle away from Barcelona’s main city center, and go off the beaten tourist trail to the neighborhood of Born, where medieval architecture and arty-looking cafés sit side by side. See Palau de la Música, and stop for a close up look at the Church of St Maria del Mar. Continue pedaling at a gentle pace to an area known as La Barceloneta and soak up the laid-back beach-style atmosphere that abounds. Pass a bar that Picasso once drank in, Els Quatre Gats, and then work your way back to the center, cycling past Passeig de Gràcia to marvel at its Modernist architecture. Montjuic Tour: Leave Plaça de la Seu and pedal past the Cuitadella, stopping briefly to admire its architecture. Continue along the seafront and then start to wind your way up Montjuic Hill, letting your electric bike do all the hard work! Hop off at the top and rest for a moment, watching the sun go down over the city. After taking photos and hearing tales of Barcelona’s history, continue cycling past Caixa Forum – a modern art gallery -- and the eye-catching MNAC building. If time permits, then visit Plaça Sant Jaume, seeing its old Roman square.

What an amazing tour! We selected the Gaudi experience for our tour, and requested an English speaking guide. After a brief, but informative, talk about where we would be touring and how the bikes worked, we were off. There were just the 3 of us in our group so it was truly a personalized experience. Our guide, Alessia, was wonderful! She was patient, showed concern for our safety, and was very knowledgeable about the places we visited around Barcelona. Her English was excellent, and she also enjoyed speaking in Spanish with our daughter on the tour. Our tour was only supposed to be about 2-1/2 hours, but lasted over 4 hours! We covered about 15 km 9 miles on the tour, and the electric bikes made it nearly effortless. We saw many sites along the tour including Casa Batllo and Casa Mila, and the Gothic Quarter. We did bike past Sagrada Familia, but since we had toured it the day before, Alessia didn't spend much time at that site. Overall, it was a great way to see a lot of Barcelona with a little effort in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Barcelona eBikes!

This was my second experience with Barcelona e-bikes after a fun time with the Gaudi and Bohemian tours but I was on my own but this time returned with my wife and 17yr old daughter with guide Jordi who was had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Gothic quarter and good fun as well. The bikes are very easy to use even for beginners and the boost you get for those occasional,inclines is very handy. Highly recommended as a first overview or even refresher of these fascinating little backstreets and history you cover a big area in a short time.

Highly recommended for the visual traveler. Lots to look at. It was difficult at times maneuvering through the people but so much fun. Probably not recommended for small children but it looked like fun for the teens and tweens. Agatha was a great guide.

This was one of my favorite tours in Spain, largely due to our guide, Carla. She is adorable and spunky with a good knowledge of all the places we visited. She's also full of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. In fact, we even had dinner with her and the other members of our group after the tour ended! I did not use the electric bike option much because I enjoy biking, but if you think you'd have trouble with this sort of exercise, do not even think twice. That sucker will get you up any hill or give you a boost whenever you need it. This tour is an absolute must.

The E bikes were very easy to use and made the touring relaxing despite a hot day of 32C. Our tour guide operator was very warm and had a passion for the history of Barcelona. I've been on bus tours before but there is so much detail of a city you can see on a bike and Barcelona city gives preferences to bike riding to connect us from sight to sight. Simply wonderful.

One of the best experiences to do on the first day. We hit many sites on the bike tour, and our tour guide was the best. They stopped at most sites and gave a little history of the site. This is the Only way to see Barcelona! Our tour guide Xavi met us on the steps of the Cathedral with very nice electric bikes that had pouches equipped with cellphone holders that also had room for bottled water which was provided and room for other belongings! We were then off cycling through the quaint backstreets of beautiful Barcelona! Xavi took us to key historic sites stopping along the way to get up close with excellent historical and knowledgeable explanations of each area and everything we were seeing. Not only was he a great guide, his English was excellent and his humor priceless! He took us through real Barcelona making us feel like locals for the day. By taking the bike tour you see things you can't see from those shop on hop off buses and cover ground you can't cover on foot. We were able to maneuver through the tight corners and backstreets that cars can't travel through. However, it was Xavis local knowledge and passion for Barcelona that was engaging. You could tell how very proud and knowledgeable he was on every spot we stopped. Thank you ebikes, you made our trip to Barcelona a wonderful memory and we truly were able to enjoy experiencing the wonderful sites, sounds and smells of your beautiful and vibrant city!
