What a wonderful and easy way to see a lot of Barcelona for either a great orientation or a great recap for all the places and people you'll fall in love with while here. Fast way to cover a lot of territory and save your feet. While you do not have to be athletic to follow this tour which goes at a comfortable pace, do at least bring familiarity with basic biking and steadiness skills with you, as Barcelona pedestrians and other traffic is slightly erratic and requires frequent creative maneuvering. Our guide Paula was safety oriented, fun, knowledgable and flexible with our goals of what to see. I can't wait to take additional and even longer tours in this fabulous area.

A great way to get around Barcelona and see the main sights. This tour involves a lot of time on the bike getting around the city and using the designated bike lanes, I would say you have to be fairly fit. Our guide Paula was very knowledgeable and interesting and would I recommend it

This was awesome! Although the tour was open to 6 people, my husband and I were the only ones so we got a lot of personal attention and it was great! Personally, I wish I would have done this tour on the first day of our time in Barcelona instead of the second to last day as it would have pointed out the many places we should/could have gone. EXCELLENT! We had a couple folks encourage us to do this. We spent our first day on this 4 hour ride. Our guide with Fat Tire Bicycles was Benja. He could not have been any more knowledgeable, engaging and just down right fun! It was a terrific way to get a quick flavor or the city and where we would want to spend more time. Fortunately the day we went is was overcast, otherwise we would have baked in the 90 degree whether in early August. Plan your timing of this well if you are there in the heat. We highly recommend this tour and especially if you can get Benja as your guide!!

Probably my least-favorite tour of Barcelona. Pros: Tour guide was awesome, knowledgable, safety-minded, and helpful. It was also a great way to see a lot of the city in one fell swoop. Cons: Large group around 15, which was a challenging when biking and just is a challenge in general when it comes to tour groups, bikes were old and hard to maneuver, and because you are seeing so much, it's a lot of quantity of what you are seeing but not a lot of quality. Definitely would not recommend--I enjoyed the walking tour I did much more.

We really enjoyed seeing the city this way. My fiance really wanted to do a bike tour and I was skeptical because I do not bike often and was worried about the physical aspect. However, the tour was very well paced and I was able to do it without any issues. Unfortunately, it downpoured while we were on our tour unusual for barcelona! but the tour guide had us wait it out in a covered area. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I'm now in the habit of signing up for these city bike tours every time I visit a new city. Its a great way to get the lay of the land and find your bearings in the city, The historical facts you pick up on the tours are even better. The Barcelona tour is solid and the guide was very good. The bikes are comfortable and good for city riding. Note, Barcelona is a busy town and has many good bike paths but you will contend with road and foot traffic on occasion during this ride. The beach section of the tour is packed with people so it becomes a bit of a swerve and dodge adventure all bikes are armed with a loud bell to alert your potential victims. As long as you have a smile and relaxed attitude you can dodge a few pedestrians. Last but not least, check out Montefusco Cycling if you want to do some private rides in and around Barcelona. I completed two private rides while staying in Barcelona. One was up the coastline north of Barcelona and the other ride was to Monserrat.
