YES, YES, YES. Great value and tons of crucial information for your money. There is just too much to look at in these busy areas to try to read, absorb, look, and navigate directions in busy traffic areas on your own and get anywhere close to the same experience. Since Modernism is such a prominent and cultivated cultural feature of Barcelona, you owe it to yourself to treat yourself to this tour.

Our guide, Gina (I think) was a lovely lady and the tour itself was lovely. Would have been nice if there had been a sign in the tourist office as I know more than one member of our group ended up waiting on the wrong side.

Although informative, I felt the tour fairly rushed and unable to spend time in certain museums that we had access too.

The guide was very informative. The 2 hour tour was probably 2 or more miles long. He was also enthusiastic. We had a small group of 6.

We traded this tour, as it was redundant to what we had already seen and done._br/_ Instead, did the Hop On/Hop Off bus to visit Park Guell...as well as revisit the Sagrada_br/_ Familia on a dry day.

We started this tour late afternoon and we visited many buildings and facades and had the history of modernism explained to us. Our tour leader was enthusiastic and took us inside some lovely building entrances. The tour also enabled us to visit the museum of modernism free. We did this the next day and it was worthwhile

Fun tour. Wish the weather was a bit better. We had a lot of wind that made the microphone hard to hear at time.

The tour itself was very good and we enjoyed it. The guide was very knowledgable. What I did not enjoy at all was the experience of starting the trip. My ticket told me to report to 2 Placa San Jaume. We did so at 3.10 on the date of the tour, thinking we had plenty of time for the 3.30 start. After waiting 10 minutes, we were told the ticket was wrong and we should be at Placa Catalonia Tourist Information. We ran there and joined the queue. One of my daughters went outside at 3.30 to check if the tour was there as we had been waiting , but still were not near to being served. The tour was outside, but we had to wait in the queue for the audio sets, which meant we held up the start of the tour by 10 minutes. This was cast up to us during the tour by the guide - very embarrassing. If we had been given the correct information by you, all this stress and unpleasantness could have been avoided.

Our guide was FANTASTIC! He was knowledgeable, articulate and set a pace. This tour is a must as "modernism" only lasted a short while and one can clearly understand why the architecture of Barcelona evolved. This tour is a must do.

I had a spectacular experience in Barcelona. The Modernism walk was excellent, the guide was charming and very knowledgeable (I don't remember her name but she was terrific). As an architect the buildings, most especially Gaudi's work, were a joy to encounter, and I am left with fond memories of it all. Jack Jacobson.

This tour had more than 30 people trying to keep up and see what was being talked about. Although the headsets allowed you to hear it was unacceptable in terms of maneuverability. This tour needs to be capped and if more sign up, add an additional guide!

This was surprisingly a great tour. We did not have much expectation, we just wanted to get to know a bit on what we should see in Barcelona during our stay. But the tour guide lady was very very knowledgeable and passionate. We learned a lot and got super excited about almost everything.

Loved loved loved this tour and the later starting time of 1800 made the walk easier in the cooler part of the day. Saw so much and learnt so much. So exhilarating to see the espouse Gaudi buildings. Highly recommend.

The guide was pleasant and understandable but somehow not too much information was transmitted. I think a walking tour on the busy streets of Barcelona is difficult but I have taken better walking tours, for instance, in New York City.

The tour overall was interesting. I basically had 2 issues. First the tour was advertised to begin at 4 pm. When we got there, they informed us that in the summer it begins at 6 pm. The site needs to be updated with the right timings. Secondly I was expecting more Gaudi._br/_ Our tour guide was very good. She answered all our questions and did not rush at any point. _br/_ 2 hours of slow walking is a lot and for that during, this tour covers a fair bit and keeps you going.

Had a great time on this tour. Oliver was a wonderful guide who really knew the area, the history of this period and described a lot of things about Barcelona I would not have otherwise noticed. I was on my own, and found it to be a great tour to do solo. It is wonderful to learn about a city from a true local, someone who grew up there and has a genuine perspective. This was my experience with Oliver, our guide, and it was really appreciated. Also, the little headset you wear really makes the tour just wonderful Not a word is missed - I can't imagine how tours were accomplished prior to this technology.

Tour was late starting because staff arrived at meeting point at start time and then had to first hand out head sets, etc. Guide crossed a large intersection, leaving half the group behind, who then had to try and find him on the crowded street. He was very well informed.

Good tour for background, but you'll see only a few of the famous "Modernistas'" buildings. The guide stressed that there were many others than Gaudi, and most of the tour dwelt on things other than the buildings we see in pictures. At the end, when people asked how to get to specific buildings they'd read about, the guide did tell how to reach them.

Excellent tour. Headphones provided so this enabled us hear the tour guide without having to be too close. He was very enthusiastic about the history of the buildings and architects of Barcelona and this tour dovetails very nicely with the Gothic Tour, providing tourists with a comprehensive insight into the origins and development of Barcelona. I would highly recommend this inexpensive way of finding out about the emergence of Barcelona.

Worth doing, we saw the important Gaudi buildings but also learnt a lot about buildings we would never have come across ourselves. Recommended. Thanks for a great tour.

For me a great introduction to the circumstances leading to modernism and the artists, architects and events of the time. It is such a beautiful city. It was quite a long walk, but full of great information and it go me into areas of the city I would probably have otherwise missed. Head set allow to wander as the guide is talking but still stay connected to the group.
