Meet your local guide in central Barcelona and start your morning with a sightseeing tour from your coach around the Passeig de Gracia street where you will discover Gaudi's amazing buildings. Next, take in views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Barcelona Coast on the way to the Olympic Village (Vila Olimpica), home to athletes during the Olympics, and the Port Olympic.
Continue to the Montjuic Mountain for a panoramic view of the city and harbour as you enjoy a cable-car ride. After taking in all the aerial views of Barcelona's skyline the coach will pick you up to pass by all the sports facilities constructed for the Olympic Games of 1992: the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi and the Picornell Olympic Swimming Pool. You will then head towards the Spanish Village (Poble Espanyol) to see typical architecture and traditional crafts from different regions of Spain.
From there, head back to central Barcelona, where you will enjoy a walking tour of the old city centre. You will start from Plaza de Catalunya, with its many fountains and statues, and will continue towards the narrow medieval streets of the Gothic Quarter with your local guide. You will see many buildings dating from the 15th century, including the Barcelona Cathedral, as you continue to Plaza Sant Jaume, where the important government buildings are located, including the Palace of Generalitat and the Town Hall. You will then head back to the starting point, where this tour concludes.
This was our second trip to Barcelona, but we learned so much more. A great overview of the city and our guide was full of interesting information.

Great experience! Our tour guide was awesome, I loved the Spanish village and Gothic quarter. The views were amazing, however I wish the cable car rides that provide a view of the city were longer.

If you have limited time and want to get the most of it, this tour is ok. But it would have been better if we were allowed to go down from the bus and take pictures at the Olympic Village. Visit to Gothic Quarter is a must. Tour guide did not do her job well.

The ride to the beach and our guide's pointing out the various architectures was cool. The Cable car ride and the view from there was very nice and the Olympic village was worth seeing. Then went to the Spanish Village which was basically like Epcot with all imitation facades.Then went to the Gothic Village which we had already seen in our travels. Seemed like at that point they were just trying to fill up the 4 hours.

Took this tour at the end of a cruise as a general city tour to get oriented and discover Barcelona. It was just what we wanted. Travelling with spouse and 2 friends, we found it informative, enjoyable and just right! Our guide was Marta who was instantly engaging, informative obviously knew and loved Barcelona. The cable car ride was spectacular! _br/_ During the walking tour of the Gothic Quarter, Marta negotiated our way through crowed, busy areas. There was a fair/festival going on in front of the old cathedral, so Marta took the time to stop and explain certain things that were going on, e.g. a local band playing traditional Catalan music and spontaneous dancing by locals. Marta was very knowledgeable and answered questions very directly and succinctly. She moved things along. I commend her especially being able to lead the tour in the Gothic Quarter with the crowds, but making sure that we were/felt safe. We were in Barcelona the weekend of Oct 21-23 when there were lots of crowds demonstrating on behave of the Catalonian cause. _br/_ I highly recommend this tour!

This tour was awesome. The guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and keep our interest with great stories about the visited sights. We did the whole city tour in a luxury coach bus that was not crowded, so almost everybody had a place near the window to admire the city while the guide described the places.

The basic tour is great until you get to the Montjuic Cable car. there is NO mention on the tour brochure about having to walk up Mt Montjuic to catch the cable car down, there are approx. 800 steps to climb personnel, in our croup were elderly, impaired and not fit people for this exercise. When you reach the top you are given a history of the fort but you do not enter the fort.

Most of the tour was OK. The tour was in Spanish and English, and wife, who speaks both, was able to determine that the Spanish portion provided more information than the English portion. The tour guide also could seem to understand why the people who had purchase a meal option kept asking about it as they had booked another tour after this one through the same tour provider, but our tour guide didn't seem sympathetic to the timing that they needed to be able to get to the meal location and then connect with the other tour.

There are 2 parts to this tour, the first part was a total disappointment. We were headed in a bus, and all the hi lights of the Barcelona were just pointed to fro the bus. We did 2 stop over, one in the marina nothing special, and another in Montjuic, just to ride the cable car. But the 2nd part was amazing. We were let lose in the Spanish village could have been longer and the walk in the Gothic quarters was wonderful. We got to know the place in more intimate way. There would be a way to make the first part of the tour more experiential. that was the only fly in the ointment.

To rushed as we drove past things that were of interest, the guide was not all that helpful, stopped at the Olympic Village only to be told it was to early to enter, I would have thought that the Tour Company would have known the opening time. Cable car ride was not all that good. Was disappointed overall.

Excellent tour and superb driver and bus. The sites in Barcelona are amazing. Only 4-stars because our guide was less than enthusiastic. She gave out plenty of information but seemed not to care for what she was showing us. To her it was just a job.

The tour was very comprehensive.. Was disappointed with the very short teleferic ride and our guide Antonia was average at best.. Her microphone was not working and since we had children we tended to trail behind and could not hear much of whatever she had to say! we have had better thru Viator.

I am sorry to say, the tour guide was not great. Poor english and not so informative. As for the tour, i was hoping to see more of the Olymic Village. We basically drove to one space and got out for 15 min. There was not tour if the village._br/_ The Gothic Quarter was nice to walk through but again, the guide was not very informative.

Book this tour to get an overall view of Barcelona and decide what you want to explore. However, before you leave home book online tours of Gaudi's Park Guell and of the Sagrada Familia cathedral because they sell out fast or you'll wait in LONG lines for a time slot. Riding the funicular was a real treat. You learn a little of Franco's fascist dictatorship and the history of the Gothic Quarter.

The only complain I have Is that all the tours in Spain were Bilingual ,although I had booked English speaking tours, this is is very annoying and time wasting, as the Guide spoke in two languages and switched from one language to the other, please make sure that when an English language tour is booked than it is only in English and not in two languages

The sites were interesting and I'm glad I saw them, but the guide focused on Spanish commentary rather than English, even though it was supposed to be an English tour. She spoke much longer in Spanish, and when she did say something in English, she didn't provide a lot of information, just said the same thing two or three times. This tour could have been awesome given the sites that we viewed, however due to the mediocre guide, I can only give it two stars.

We had trouble finding the meeting place AGAIN..._br/_ Missed the tour but luckily the travel operator re-scheduled us to a similar tour _br/_ at least tour not wasted..._br/_ The tour itself is very good, most enlightening...._br/_ Bilingual guide with both English/German/Spanish was wasting time in telling the history etc in 2 languages....Next time I'll make sure tour is English speaking only.
