Casa de les Punxes: Skip the Line Audio Tour with Cocktail in Barcelona

Travel in time to rediscover the Legend of Sant Jordi, emblem of this monument, and a key asset of the intangible Catalan cultural heritage. Immerse yourself in the art nouveau universe of Puig i Cadafalch through his most subjective work and discover the history of the Casa de les Punxes, through the Terradas family. Finish the visit with a cocktail at Matalaranya, the "vermuteria" located in Casa de les Punxes.

You will first visit the first floor, where you will immerse yourself with audiovisuals in Sant Jordi's legend, this part takes 15 minutes. At the end of the audiovisuals you will learn who the was the family who comissioned the house, as well the hidden history of Casa de les Punxes.

In the following rooms you will learn more about the importance of Sant Jordi in modernism, and the different  interpretations of dragons around the world, this part takes 15 minutes. 

You will access the second half of the visit it with an elevator. On the roof you will be able to move freely, and you will have access to all the  Punxes (towers), and learn more about the life and works of Puig i Cadaflach, the architect of the house. Each Punxa has a different theme, such as the art nouveau movement, or the socio-cultural moment in which the house was built, this part can take 30 minutes approx.

The audio guide is wireless, you will not have to press any button as the sensors will automatically activate the audio in each room. 

Back on the entrance floor you can have your cocktail at " la vermuteria" called Matalaranya.
