Check out the cliffs and coves of the Spanish Costa Brava on a full-day kayak experience from Barcelona. The coastal adventure includes round-trip transport from the city, as well as a 4-hour sea kayak session with a picnic lunch. Make your own way to Barcelona’s gothic quarter, Barri Gòtic, and meet your guide for your full-day sea kayak experience. Then, hop aboard your air-conditioned minibus and relax on the journey north to the Costa Brava region — your destination of the day. Put on your provided life jacket, listen to a safety briefing and then paddle away from the cove in your sturdy sea kayak.
Meaning ‘rugged coast,’ Costa Brava is just that. Your route takes in a quiet and scenic stretch of the coastline, and you’ll have ample opportunity to ogle the landscape as you paddle.
Your guide stays close-by through your 4-hour stint on the water, allowing you to hear some light-hearted stories about the coastal area and its history. Besides the commentary, you’ll also receive some tips on how to improve your kayak technique so you can get the most out of your session. Learn how to paddle and maneuver yourself, and in the rare event that you should roll out, your guide is ready to help you back on board.
Around lunchtime, paddle to the shore of a secluded cove, and enjoy some free time to swim, soak up the sun and explore. Snorkel equipment is provided for you to use, as is a picnic lunch — complete with baguette sandwiches, chips, fruit and bottled water — brought along by your guide.
Feeling refreshed, return to your kayak and follow your guide back to the Costa Brava start point. Finally, finish your experience with a drop-off back in Barcelona.

This trip was amazing! Martin our guide was friendly and informative and was able to make adjustments on the fly to accommodate for our family. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we weren't able to take the kayaks out, so Martin suggested a hike along the shore to some secluded beaches and coves for swimming and snorkeling. We even found a place to do some cliff jumping. This day trip was the highlight for my two kids and they still talk about it all the time.

Loved Loved Loved. This was amazing! I would do it again and again. Feliepe was a professional and very patient. He was personable and we all had a great time, the kayaks were in good shape and easy to maneuver. I highly recommend. The water was beautiful and the scenery was spectular.

This was one of the highlights of my whole vacation. We had a small group of 8 people. The ride up to the coast was beautiful and an easy 1 hour drive. We each got in our kayaks and off we went. I also was able to use a water tight bag to bring along my camera, sunscreen etc. The water was calm, we went in and out of several coves before finally selecting a spot to eat lunch, swim and snorkel. As a group we kayaked for about 1.5 hours to get to our spot. Lunch was sandwiches, choice of tuna or ham and you were free to bring along snacks if you wanted. Lots of little fish to look at and a rocky hill to climb to take pictures. Some members also took the kayaks back out to keep exploring while others enjoyed the beach. Slightly more wavy ride back about 1 hour. The beach where we returned the kayaks also has a small bar so we all had a well earned cold beer before the ride back into town. What added to making this excursion enjoyable is that we were able to set our own pace for the day.

Excellent adventure, great guide who accommodates everyone and all levels of experience. Double kayak and #39;s recommended with kid and #39;s as the sea can get choppy at times. But great fun and plenty of sea life to sea when you stop for lunch and go snorkelling.

This tour includes so much more that kayaking. We were able to cliff dive, rock climb, snorkel, hike, and relax on the beach. Plan to be on this excursion for a full day. The snorkeling here wasn't great I didn't see any fish in the 5 minutes that I was able to keep my face in the cold September water, but it was nice to relax on the beach. It was also great to kayak through rock formations and into coves. Keep in mind that this is the Wild Coast, and not a nice, quite float. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that our tour guide was excellent and so nice, except for once we returned the kayaks and he left us on the beach for about 45 minutes and disappeared. After a long day of kayaking and nice hour and a half rest on the beach for lunch, we were pretty much ready to head home. But the guide company, was fantastic and I would definitely go again.

great weather allowed for fun day.. was disappointed with the amount of padding since expected to go to the end of the coastline.. lots of time was spent waiting for the slow paddlers to catchup.. program did not match what was advertised.. there was no picnic lunch at the beach.. there was no snorkeling equipment provided.. lots of time waiting at the beach only to return to the startpoint ..could have spent the time paddling more down the coast instead of just sitting on the beach since there was no lunch provided there.. the best part was paddling in and out of the caves..

This tour was awesome! The beach we took off from is gorgeous and the coast is just breathtaking. Alex was a great tour guide and made it really fun. The cave areas were so cool to venture into and the color of the water was a blue I had never seen before! I would recommend bringing a waterproof camera so you can capture a little bit of this trip - it was worth it!

If you want to see Istanbul then I recommend taking this trip ESP if you are only there for a day. Perfect for solo or group of friends and you get to see all the major attractions without waiting in line. And if you really liked something you can always go back after the tour ends
