Flamenco Show at Tablao de Carmen in Barcelona Including Drink, Tapas or Dinner

Barcelona, Spain

Lose yourself in classic flamenco at Tablao de Carmen in Barcelona. Situated in Barcelona’s Spanish Village, this famous 'tablao' (flamenco venue) showcases pure Andalucian flamenco by top artistes. Experience a dazzling 1-hour show preceded by a drink, tapas or 3-course dinner depending on your chosen option. Your ticket includes entry to the Spanish Village, an open-air museum of replica Spanish buildings, squares and streets, so you can dip into its craft workshops, gardens, cafes and other attractions before or after the flamenco.

Choose your desired show time and drinks and food option when you book. Then, make your way to the Tablao de Carmen in the Spanish Village (Poble Espanyol) beneath Montjuïc Hill in Barcelona.
Your ticket includes admission to the village from 4pm on the day of your show. If you wish, take time to stroll around the pretty streets and squares to admire the replica buildings and visit the craft workshops, cafes and gardens.
When the show time approaches, head inside the tablao, one of Barcelona’s most acclaimed flamenco venues.
Take a seat in the show room and enjoy a complimentary glass of sangria, wine, beer or soda; or tapas with a drink, depending on your chosen option. Alternatively, if you’ve selected the show and dinner package, savor your meal with an included drink. See the Itinerary for sample menus.
Applaud as the bailors (flamenco dancers), singers and guitarists arrive on stage, and enjoy the exhilarating 1-hour show. Watch transfixed as the dancers stamp and clap in a whirl of color, and immerse yourself in the fiery music and singing.
Clap as the show reaches a crescendo and cheer the performers. Your experience ends when you leave the tablao.

This was amazing the dancing was fantastic. Every time a different dancer came on we thought they couldn't be better but somehow they were. Food was tasty too!!

This being a small venue, there is no bad seat in the house. Very intense performances._br/_ Food was just acceptable.

Review by:   Andrea B,    March 2018 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
After paying the full dinner/show price for myself and my daughter 145 I was expecting an evening to remember. We had booked the 8.30 arrival time for dinner with the show commencing at 9oclock. It was made clear when booking to arrive early as the ticket also covers entry to the venue which allows you to visit the Spanish style village which apparently hosts craft shops/bars etc. Myself and my daughter arrived at 7 so that we could look around and enjoy the amenities. Unfortunately as it was low season March 15th everything closed at 6pm. As this venue is up on the mountain a way from all other amenities we were left waiting for two hours for the restaurant to open. It wasn't pleasant and this ruined our evening. More to the point I have tried to contact Viator whom I purchased this voucher from and how on earth are you able to contact anyone to voice your complaint? Could someone shed some light on this please._br/_ With all that said the show was good, the food very bland but definetely not worth the money. A real money grabbing tourist event.

We enjoyed the tapas dinner and the authentic flamenco show. All tables give a great view of the show. The Spanish Village location is charming.

So worth the money. Extremely talented Flamenco dancers. Food was plentiful and we were given three bottles of wine between the four of us. Recommended.

Wow, what a great show! The dancers and musicians are very talented and passionate about their art form!! The tapas and drinks were plentiful and delicious. We were happy that we didn't do the dinner as the tapas were ample as dinner. I would highly recommend this show but take a taxi there and back as it is not an easy find. The restaurant was lovely and very appropriate for Flamenco!! Loved the way they got the audience involved with the music and dance! It really was a lot of fun!!

We paid 80 Euros to be sat at the back and given a terrible dinner. Everyone else did the tapas and were sieated in front of us, and they were given much more food!

Had a fantastic time at this show. The singers and dancers were incredibly talented and passionate. Food was much better than I was expecting. We were served a couple of glasses of wine each and my husband had a coffee at no additional expense. Great way to end our 16 day trip to Spain!

The Tapas was not as good as 2 years ago when we were there. The show was short one female dancer. Maybe the smaller attendance colored that but we paid the same.

We came early but we were served dinner late only to find out that they didn't know that the package we got includes full dinner we are family of 7. We did not enjoy the show much maybe because we didn't know what Flamenco is a lot of strong foot stamping on wooden floor and not the usual dancing that we know. We also had a hard time taking taxi after the show so we walked a considerable distance although we enjoyed walking and took pictures along the way.

Food awful and portions small. Don’t go hungry! This is a fast turnover designed for tourists rather than a authentic experience.

If it's Spain, Flamenco sure has to be a part of it and Tablao de Carmen is a venue worth every bit of it. The tablao is located within Pueblo Español, which is an architectural recreation of Iberian villages or towns and has every bit of the look and feel and you feel transported to another time and place. The Tablao offers fine food and drinks with some of the amazing Tapas items of Spanish origin. We were really happy to find vegetarian dishes in the menu. The focus of the show however without a doubt were the amazing performances - the spirited dances, the powerful singing and the beautiful strums of the guitar made for a perfect spellbinding evening. A highly recommended experience for anyone visiting Barcelona.

The show, the tapas and the sangria were really good. The dinner however, was only so so. I was given a choice of either fish or roast beef...I chose the roast beef. I was served mashed potatoes and sliced roast beef covered in gravy. I was disappointed with the presentation because It looked like a meal I would have gotten at a diner or cafeteria. Our Show was at 8:30. We arrived at the Spanish Village early only to find out that all of the shops had already been closed for the night or were closed for the holidays. Although we enjoyed the stroll, the village was completely deserted.

Such a wonderful evening of food and entertainment! The musicians and dancers were so talented and full of life! We chose the tapas option, and the dishes just kept coming out! We arrived to late to shop in the village, but it was very beautiful and lovely to walk around.

I thought this was overrated. The tapas were good but the show was only OK, IMO. Seemed more like a Disney production to me.

The highlight of the trip for my father. The wonderful people at the venue were so friendly. A spectacular show and can still feel the energy of their dancing.

The tapas were excellent and generous, and the drink was a whole bottle of wine. The flamenco was new to us so can't compare, but was danced with passion and verve. Would highly recommend this for value for money and enjoyment of an evening in Barcelona.

Good and easily enough food as tapas without going for the full meal. Dancing is more stylised these days, very athletic but somehow less authentic Flamenco.

Great show! I would opt for tapas and drinks. The dinner did not add anything special. It was mediocre. The tapas were great!

The show was outstanding...all the performers were excellent. Really enjoyed it and you get free access to the Spanish Village which is very picturesque and has many little shops. A must do!

We strategically planned this event on our first day in Barcelona as a way of easing us past jet lag while conserving our energy for the days to follow. It was a plus to have access to the Spanish Village two hours before the show. The show was impressive - authentic, colorful and high-energy. The food was less so - basic tapas, nothing memorable. The evening could use a moderator to introduce the dancers, provide context and close the show.

Located within Poble Espanyol the show was entertaining and the Restaurant comfortable. We chose the dinner option and the food was OK but not special. Its worth wandering around Poble Espanyol as its quite attractive and contains some interesting shops. If you are not staying in the area it can be a bit difficult to access - you may also have a 20 minute walk before you can find a Taxi home.

The actual show was great what we saw of it. The problem was that Viator put the start time 15 minutes later than the actual start time of the show!!! We showed up a few minutes before the start time listed by Viator and had missed an entire dance by one of the lead dancers!!!! I was really bummed about this!...Not to mention we felt completely disrespectful walking in late!!!! Huge disappointment.

The food was excellent. The flamenco was phenomenal. The guitarists were highly skilled, accompanying flawlessly. The vocalists were excellent, emotive and powerful. The dancers were passionate, intense, and performed with clean footwork and every ounce of effort they had. I loved this.

OK, granted, this is a tourist trap but it's fun and very unique! A scenic taxi ride will get you to the Spanish Village which is a representation of a Spanish town created especially for an exhibition a century ago. Well inside the village via winding streets you will come across a modest dinner theater for this flamenco show. I was nervous about one hour of some person hammering her/his shoes on 1 inch plywood for my enjoyment but actually it was quite nice. Divided into three sessions within the hour show, three ladies and one gentleman took to the floor to demonstrate their art form. All very talented and representative of the culture. We chose the dinner option so fish or beef were the selections. Not bad for a dinner theater. Drinks and dessert a delicious chocolate creation complimented the event. The tables and chairs are quite uncomfortable but after all, you are there to eat and see a show within a 90 minute period and then move on....another show and another group of tourists will fill the place for the next performance! Been there... Done that... Glad I did! _br/_ iPhone photos will not post on this site

This tour provides an outstanding flamenco show including taleneted musicians and dancers, and the dinner is very good and very graciously served. A conversation with the venue owner was welcoming, interesting and informative. I highly recommend this show, dinner and venue.
