Meet your tour guide at your hotel. Take the train and enjoy the Catalonian landscape view while we head to Monistrol, where you willchoose between cable car or train ride up the mountain. Enjoy panoramic views and lush landscapes. Visit the Santa María de Montserrat Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded in the eleventh century, and take amazing pictures from its viewpoint.
Visit the Virgin of Montserrat, known as Black Madonna “La Moreneta”, a wood carving of the twelfth century, which is the patron saint of Catalonia.
Listen the choir of L’Escolania de Montserrat, one of the most famous and oldest boy-choirs in Europe. Try the typical Coca de Montserrat, a fluffy, elongated cake topped with sugar.

We started off from Plaza Catalunya up to the start of the cable car. Perfect travel time to discuss much more about the tour and the important facts of Montserrat._br/_ We had a chance to absorb much of the details because we were only 4 in this private tour and we had time to enjoy photo shoots and prayer and a lovely paella meal. Without having to rush.

We loved this tour! We were met by Marc who made our traveling day hassle free and a pleasure. He was kind and patient, very attentive to all of our needs. He had so much information and history to share with us. We were a family of 6 so he kept us moving but at a perfect pace. It was such a pleasure to have him guide us throughout the day. We finished our day with a lovely Paella lunch at a terrific restaurant. He was very in tune with our expectations and we loved every minute!

Jordi met us at our hotel promptly and began what turned out to be an incredible day! Jordi knew all of the tips and hints for the transit systems that took us to Montserrat. Without his guidance, we would have been left in the dust! As it was, we were in the front of the gondola that took us up the mountainside to the town of Montserrat and had the best views! He was very knowledgeable about the history and he made sure we had the shortest wait to see the Black Madonna and make our wish. He also guided us in the church to witness the amazing performance of the boys choir. Afterward, Jordi took us back into the city for a fantastic lunch. It was an unforgettable day made perfect by our guide Jordi!

I busy day but our guide Jorge was professional and personable and kept us moving and informed. A wonderful way to see Montserrat and sample some of the local food and culture. Our tour ended with a lovely paella dinner at a Barcelona restaurant. A most enjoyable day.

This was one of the best tours we've ever done. Our guide, Jordi, picked us up at the hotel and took us by subway and train to Montserrat where we rode the cable car to the top. Jordi was extremely knowledgeable and we very much enjoyed spending the day with him. We gained so much insight into Montserrat but also Catalunya and Barcelona. A very interesting person! We were totally enchanted by the boys choir! The church is so beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and local pastery at the monastery and later enjoyed a wonderful lunch. We very much enjoyed this tour!

Great tour...only wish it could have been twice as long...there is much to see at Montserrat. Prepare for it if you have time, by reading up on the black madonna there, and others in Europe, and by reading about the fine collection in the art museum. Beautiful site, well worth the time to train up to it and back.

Amazing experience with such a knowledgeable guide who brought this Holy Mountain to life with past and present. Scheduled to leave on a cruise from Barcelona the afternoon of my tour and BCN Dream tours went out of their way to provide me with a private tour and gude/driver Ernesto who picked me up from my hotel and then delivered me to the port once the tour was completed. Ernesto is such a delightful person to spend the day with as he truly enjoys expressing and sharing the history of the venue in which you are visiting. Great trip up to Montserrat and highly recommend Marc our tour guide was great organised everythign and made it very easy to get there. We would have loved to have spent more time there as it felt a bit rushed through no fault of Marc just the time we had there didnt allow us the time to visit the museum or go up the funicular as we had to choose whether to watch the boys choir or go up funicular.

Our guide Jordie picked us up at our hotel and took us by public transportation to visit Montserrat. He made sure we were in position to get seats on the train for the one hour journey and to be the first on line for the cable car. Throughout the day he asked our preferences then timed our activities to be sure we had the best views. On the way home we had a snack of a local bread with chocolate which was delicious. Although it indicated that it included lunch, the tour really only included this snack. Jordie was a great guide and we had a fabulous day.

My husband and I took a private, 6 hr tour to Montserrat on May 6. Ernesto met us at our lodging and we walked to the Metro, then took the cable car to the mountain. We had actually been to the mtn a few days earlier with a small tour different company, but having a private tour with Ernesto made a huge difference. He is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and learned what we most wanted from the tour. The one-hr travel each way was enriched through the guide's knowledge and perspectives about the Catalonian culture. While on the mountain, he paid close attention to timing so that we spent the least amount of time in the waiting line to see the Moreneta, which was a deeply moving experience for us. Ernesto offered to capture special moments by photo, which we greatly appreciated. He pointed out special features at Montserrat that we had missed on our earlier visit. He also went far beyond the requirements of the tour by showing us, step-by-step, how to use the Metro and Renfe stations and making sure we understood how to navigate the system--even going an extra Metro stop with us. We completely enjoyed our time with Ernesto and highly recommend BCN Dream Tours. We wish we would have known about the company so we could have booked other tours with them. We were well taken care of, and appreciate the more personal connection we made in such a short time.

I was really looking forward to this tour and it didn't disappoint. Our tour guide was Albert. He was very punctual and very attentive to all our needs. He provided us with great tips for restaurants and other things to do while at Barcelona. The train ride over was fast, no more than 40 minutes. Once there we took the cable car to the top, great experience. He was on top of things and made sure we didn't have to make a long line to see the Virgin and the boy choir. . The day we visited was cold and extremely foggy which impaired some of the sightseen but been in this place is so surreal it gives you the chills. Would definitely go back next time in Barcelona

This tour was absolutely amazing and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a more panoramic and sightseeing view of Barcelona. Our tour guide, Eloi was very insightful and gave us very detailed information on Montserrat and its history as well as information on Barcelona and Spain in general. Eloi was also very friendly to my family and I and he felt more like a friend rather than just a typical tour guide. This tour was also extremely comfortable and relaxing, much like a vacation should be. Plus the views are great ! Therefore, it is safe to say that this tour really did make me fall in love with the city. Overall, I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a more beautiful and monumental side of Barcelona. Eloi had great expertise and was very knowledgeable so I know he works with a great company. I trust that the other tours provided by Eloi and his company will be just as amazing.
