This was a great experience for my family! We met Sonya at her cooking school, walked to a local market, and returned to cook paella together. She tailored our dish around my brothers shellfish allergy. We learned a lot of nuisances about cooking traditional paella which made our finished product the best we ever tasted! We learned about Catalan culture and regional types of paella. She even took us to a local cuisine shop to assist us in choosing a paella pan to take home. Highly recommended!

Little hard to find, but definitely worth the search. Great cooking ideas. Wonderful evening for just the two of us with the instructor.

What a wonderful true cooking experience. Highly recommend to learn how to properly learn how to make Paella. Our son at 12 years old had probably the best time so recommend for kids and adults.

thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Sonia was fab, she spoke wonderful English, showed us around the local market and regaled us with fascinating insights to all the local products. We really enjoyed cooking and eating the paella especially with a nice glass of Rioja. Overall this was a lovely experience and I would recommend it to all.

This was SO much fun and our instructor, Sonia, was a big reason why. She was so easy to talk to and shared so much of her local knowledge of Barcelona.....it was if we were at a luncheon being hosted by a most gracious hostess. And we learned how to cook paella !! She gets 5 stars plus !!

What a wonderful afternoon spent with Sonia Puig Polomar, owner of Concina en... Ventana Gastronomica. Her hands on teaching method was excellent our classic paella dish was excellent,. Spending time in the kitchen with Sonia was also filled with stories of the culture, history and current events of the Catalunyan people. This was by far one of the highlights of our trip and a wonderful way to immerse yourself and experience the culture. I am looking forward to cooking her recipe for my family and friends.
