On this route you will see imposing pieces like Joan Miró’s Lady and Bird, visit the marvelous pavilion of the master of German rationalism Mies van der Rohe, and learn about one of the most notable art centers in Barcelona, the  "el Caixa Forum," housed in an industrial modernist building. 

After this stroll you will get to know an incredible space dedicated exclusively to contemporary art which includes two galleries. The Carles Taché Gallery has been distinguished with several awards and represents a heterogeneous group of foreign and local established artists and projects. This gallery was designed for the promotion and dissemination of the work of younger artists. The next stop is the turbulent and trendy neighborhood El Raval, also known as El Barrio Chino (China Town), in reference to San Francisco and New York areas that have the same aura as this Barcelona zone.

Near the huge sculpture of Fernando Botero is the great spot chosen to have a break and drink a fresh Aigua de Moritz (0.0% alcohol beer). Talk about the history and mysticism that surrounds this place which is considered to be one of the most multicultural places in the world and where the mix between the old and the new is very latent.

Afterwards, you will go to Trama, a gallery founded in 1991 that emerged as a derivation of the Sala Parés, Barcelona 's oldest active gallery inaugurated in 1877.

Finish your tour by passing by the complex dedicated to the contemporary art and urban culture of Barcelona.  This complex includes the MACBA (Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona), and the CCCB (Contemporary Culture Center of Barcelona).
