Notified the company to remind them of our pick up at the hotel 3 days before, and still the company was not there to pick us up. I called them 35 mins past the pick up time on the day of, and the operator was scrambling to get a driver to get to the hotel.She said someone will be at the hotel in 5 mins, and with the confusion, we thought after 5 mins, the taxi that pulled up at the hotel was one of theirs, and we ended up with the wrong taxi. I was not happy.

We were promptly picked up a nice driver and a clean car. I felt sorry for the driver as we were a party of 6 and had heavy cases but he wasn't put off and loaded us all up and whisked us off to the airport.

The car didn't show up. We had to make a few extra calls so the company sent a taxi to drive us to the airport. We will never hire a private transportation again. The taxi is the most reliable transportation.

I cannot recommend Viator at all. Zero stars would be my preference. The phone number Viator gave me to contact the car firm in Barcelona was completely non operational and their 'confirmation' did not confirm the pick up time or departure point.. Neither I nor my hotel could get through to them. I then phoned Viator in USA who told me everything was in hand and the car would arrive at my hotel the next day as booked. Needless to say there was no sign of it. For a so called 'premium' private car service this was totally unprofessional and a complete waste of time.

Once the driver arrived, everything went fine. However, I requested a 9pm pick up, the e-mail with information also confirmed 9pm, but then the attachment said 9:30pm. I did not notice this until it was 9:15pm and we were getting anxious. If Viator was going to change the pick up time, it should have been written that way in the e-mail and also clearly indicated as changed. Changing a pick up time to go to the airport is not professional or considerate.
