I thought the tour guide was very knowledgeable, however, after reading all the reviews I was expecting the tour guide's English to be a bit better. He was fairly hard to understand and he even commented that he typically did tours for groups that spoke Spanish, so I'm not sure why he was assigned as our guide. Additionally, the Viator site specifically stated that the tour company would contact me in advance to discuss a customized tour, however, they didn't, so we basically just went only to the places that he wanted to take us as, again, it was too difficult to explain to him where we wanted to go due to the translation/language barrier.

Sonja was great. Very flexible. Let us choose what we wanted to see. After that, she had some very good suggestions. We really enjoyed the views from Montjuic. Much better than the Sagrada view.

Andrea was a fantastic tour guide. My husband had a bad knee, so we mostly drove, but stopped briefly for to get out and take_br/_ photos. He was intensely knowledgeable and pleasant! We learned more about Barcelona in this 1/2 day tour than the entire_br/_ rest of our trip. Loved the historic perspective of Barcelona's rich past.

Susannah was our guide and Jordy was our driver. Both were very professional, and we felt very safe, even though there had been a terrorist attack in Barcelona two days before in Las Rumblas area. They took us to ALL of the sights of interest. I had a foot problem and couldn't walk long distances, so Jordy made sure that we could park as close as possible, then Susannah was able to take my husband on longer walking areas. It was very enjoyable and we felt we got a wonderful overview of the city!

This was a great way to spend the afternoon in Barcelona. We booked this tour in order to see the highlights of Barcelona and become better acquainted with the city while visiting. We arrived the day before our cruise so this was a perfect way to see the highlights with a private driver and tour guide who walked with us and shared her knowledge with us while sightseeing.

Absolutely awesome! We had our own van for a family of 6. We had a driver AND tour guide who were so friendly and accommodating! They answered ANY question we had about Barcelona, Spain, Europe, etc and we had tons. They showed us all the main places we would want to see in Barcelona in a short amount of time. Any place we wanted to go they took us and translated for us as well. I would recommend this to anyone!!

The half-day private sightseeing private tour we booked through Viator really exceeded our expectations. Even though we only had 4 hours, we felt that we were able to see many amazing things and appreciated Sonias great guidance. The driver was also excellent and very professional. _br/_ We were pleased that Sonia and her driver were at our hotel early and ready to start us on our tour. She allowed us to customize the places we wanted to go and offered advice as to what would be best to see with her and the driver versus seeing on our own later. Because she is a professional tour guide, she was allowed special access to the attractions. _br/_ Sonias historical and societal perspectives were great for us as we learned more about the city. We felt welcome by her warm and genuine personality. We only wished we had booked a longer tour, but now we have a reason to come back and will certainly request Sonia!

Barcelona is a grand historic city that sol be on most persons tour list the highlight was the huge church Songrada Famlia by Goudi.acertified genius our tour guide knew the stories of this cathedral in fine detail She even pushed me in my wheelchai all over the church which had several significant ramps.kudos to this tour compny .many thanks

Tour guide was excellent. We went to the cathedral and got right in, no waiting on line. She explained many of the stories surrounding the building of the cathedral. We then went to a number of different parks which provided wonderful views of the city. She also pointed out numerous landmarks. She then took us to the shopping area. Before we ended our tour she told us of the places we should see before we leave. Tour was a little pricy but well worth the cost.

Very expensive for what it was. Our guide was very pleasant and gave us an overall history and information about Barcelona. We had asked for Parc Guell to be included in our tour and this was the highlight of the tour. It was difficult to do a tour of the town because of traffic so we were take to Montjuif, where there were good views of the port. We ended our tour at the Olympic village at lunch time, where there were several tapas bars and restaurants.

My guide Marc and driver ton no were perfect. I had 4 hours to see the city, and they made the magic happen. They customized a tour that gee me the tour I wanted, with additional things that I didn't know I needed to see. The explanation of the symbolism of the Sagrada Familia and the architecture were tremendous and added to my appreciation of this amazing monument

Really enjoyed it. Our host Paquita and our driver Jordi were both very personable and were eager to immerse us into any aspect of Barcelona we wanted. The coach was very clean and comfortable. We saw a variety of sights including the Barcelona Football Club stadium we paid, since this wasn't an included cost. Messi is my son's favorite football soccer player ever, and seeing his locker room, the pitch field, reporters' booths up above and all the history that's showing in the onsite museum was a real bonus!

This was a great private tour with a driver and a tour guide in the comfort of a private car,. We saw everything and then some.We got dropped off in front of the sites. the tour guide gave us a private tour. She knew everything. The driver stayed with the car. This was well worth the cost. If you have just one day in Barcelona, do this tour!

It was great! We arrived 2 hour late so the tour needs to be cut short,but our guide was very patient and warm,experienced,so that we were able to still see the landmark places of Barcelona.Very satisfied.

I had a private half day tour of Barcelona with a driver and guide. It was nice since my husband has a hard time walking a lot and we could pace ourselves. I have used Viator for tours before but found the English Speaking guide to have such an accent that she was very had for my husband to understand. I had trouble too but tried to really listen. I spent a lot of money for the private tour and we did see everything we wanted to see but they need the guides to speak better English.

Our tour guide Sonia was the best! She provided such helpful commentary and tailored our tour to our family 3 teenagers. While my husband and I could have stayed at Sagrada Familia with Sonia all day, we kept the tour moving and saw many of the sights of Barcelona. It was a great first activity so that we were able to get a feel for this great city.

We had a private tour. There were three of us. The driver and the tour guide were wonderful and the guide's English was great. I had a problem with the fact that the tour itself was really just a drive by, look at something, take a photo then move on. We could have done that on the bus. We walked around a bit a Montjuïc but didn't know that there was a castle there to look at. So we took in the view and moved on. Also, we stopped at the Cathedral but couldn't go in. Never got to Parc Güell. Maybe a half day just isn't enough for all of Barcelona's wonders.

Our guide was wonderful and the driver did a great job. However there was a huge problem at the beginning of the trip because our guide had no idea we were getting a driver and a car. He told us we had to pay for taxis to get us around. We were extremely upset, as we had paid A LOT for this tour, probably way overpriced. I got in the cab because I felt we had no other choice, and then the driver and car showed up. Better communication is needed between you and the tour guide.

Knowledgable, patient, and welcoming. Our tour guide Sandra and the driver met us at the port, and provided a very relaxing but informative day of sight seeing. We spent most of our time in Sagrada Familia and she was able to answer all of questions. We then went to a few more sights, and ended by taking us to Four Cats which was fun. I really felt we saw more sights and the efficiency kept us from being exhausted.

This is the best way to see Barcelona! Our driver and our guide (Andreas) were both perfect and although we had stayed in Barcelona before this trip, having someone take you around their city and explain the history and the present, gives you the chance to emotionally connect to the city. Next time we are coming to Europe, we will come back to Barcelona and we will take this tour again. The private tours may seem expensive, but you are able to skip the line-ups at the popular tourist destinations and go places and see things you would never know existed, which makes spending the money very worthwhile.
