We happen to visit Girona during their annual flower show, very fun! There were floral art installations of various sizes throughout the town. Our local guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable about the town's history. For Game of Throne's fans there were a couple of places that they filmed, would you know this if you were standing in front of them, without being told where you were?? We didn't, lol. We didn't spend any time checking out the town of Figueres, we wanted to spend it all in the Dali Musuem, and it didn't disappoint! But I'm an artist so I might be a little biased : Alex our guide was fantastic. He made sure you drew your own conclusions about the art, as Dali intended. He also reminded everyone that Dali did not want people to see it all in some type of order, which I loved. It was very crowded so we walked around and only looked in places with the fewest people. We were still able to see everything! While his most iconic work is not there, these are the pieces he chose not to sell, which I found interesting. Very inspiring for an artist!

This tour and the Tour Guide, Alex were the best. However the tour company, Viator, leaves a lot to be desired. We were told be at the pickup point at 8:00 and no later than 8:15. People were showing up at 8:30 and we did not leave until 8:45. The ones that showed late are the people that crowd on the bus ahead of everyone else. People that show up on time should not be the ones that don't get a good seat._br/_ There was a big post that ran down the window at my seat and help block the view. Also my seat back was broken and would not stay up._br/_ If Viator were good business people they would issue a numbered boarding pass to you when you arrive. That way people that want to be late cannot crowd ahead of everyone else boarding the buses. _br/_ I would recommend a different tour company, one that cares more for their customers after they get your money..
Girona was one of my favorite places we went during our trip to Barcelona. It was amazing. We could have spent all day there exploring this charming and beautiful village. _br/_ The Dali Museum was cool. Dali's is isn't really really my jam, but I could absolutely appreciate that I was in the presence of the work of one of the greats.

This was a really fantastic tour. There was ample time to explore both cities and the Dali Museum was the ultimate highlight.

Great trip and so worth it. Girona was great and a interesting place to go if you're a fan of Game of Thrones because they shot scenes there. The Dali museum is phenomenal. We could have stayed there all day if we could.

I loved Girona, a fun town full of lots of little alleys and things to explore. And the best was the Dali Museum. I've seen a lot of Dali's work in books and this blew me away. I left feeling so inspired and read to create a Dali-inspired sculpture for my garden.

This was an amazing excursion. We fell in love with Girona and its quiet enchanting streets and beautiful buildings. We ate lunch at a local cafe and later did a little shopping when we were on our own. _br/_ The tour of Dalis museum was mind blowing. I was never a big fan of Dali and his genre of art until this visit. He was a mad genius. The collection of his works is beautifully exhibited and really captures his vision and imagination. But then, we stopped in to tour his jewelry exhibit and that pushed everything over the top. Im a jewelry designer and his showcase of jewelry designs blew my mind. Stunning, gorgeous and beyond anything you have ever seen. Take this excursion!

The time allotted for this tour was insufficient. Our time in Girona was way to short failing to truly leave time to explore. We were strongly encouraged to eat lunch here since there would be no time in Figures. The Dali museum really only took one hour to maybe an hour and half. That left about an hour and half in the c town which really didn't have anything else to do. Secondly the dual languages were difficult. On the 1 1/2 bus ride the guide had to talk the entire time with out a rest. In the Dali museum one group had to wait over 1/2 hour fit the guide. I would suggest going on your own or finding a tour that was more efficient. One option would be to go to Figures first, grab lunch and spend more time in Girona.

The toor guide which have in Girona could tell us few things about the places where Game of thrones scenes were shot. _br/_ The audio guide machine have problems not only ours , have extra noises and lost the connection often._br/_ In Figueres must stay a little bit more, cause we had to visit two museum and we need time for rest too.

All aspects of this tour were beyond amazing! Girona was so beautiful and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made us fall in love with the historical city. She also gave us some time to explore and enjoy each location before moving on, so we were able to savour the experience. Figueres and the Dali museum were mind-blowing. Seeing so much of Dali's work in one place made us not only appreciate his genius more, but also become overwhelmed with the scope of his work. This is definitely a museum that should be seen at one's own leisure to fully appreciate it, but the several hours we had with the tour were enough for a taste and a general amateur viewing.
