Jacob met us at the Sagrada Familia and turned what could have been a long two hours into a truly fascinating experience. Jacob's knowledge of the building, it's history, Gaudi as an artisit and as a man, and Barcelona itself was excellent. He made a wonderful impression on my husband and i. We didn't want to go on a group tour. This personalized experience was perfect for us and Jacob covered everything in detail.

Our tour guide, Marcel, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable on the exterior of Sagrada. Spent a lot of time with us. Picked us up at our hotel and accompanied us on the subway. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide got us to Sagrada Familia by subway then did a great job explaining the exterior of Sagrada Familia and what the different architectural details meant. He showed a couple of great spots for taking pictures and some tips on other sites in Barcelona. We were given tickets to skip the entrance line then viewed the interior ourselves.

Our guide Jacob was excellent and was sourced on recommendation from a friend. He arrived to our hotel on time and escorted us via the Metro to La Segrada Família. We had a fabulous tour of the outside of the Sagrada Familia, what an amazing building!! Jacob was a very sweet, friendly and accommodating tour guide. He managed some of our quirky schedule needs I don't like traveling on the tram and we needed a bit of breakfast while making sure we arrived at the church timely and heard all of the great details of this amazing building. I would not advise anyone to see this magnificent architecture without the information from a guide as you would miss the significance of everything this building represents. Jacob gave just the right amount of history and awe while keeping the information fun and interesting for my teenagers. Thank you Jacob- we really enjoyed your company.

We loved everything about this tour! Our guide was AMAZING! He was super friendly and SO knowledgeable. The only thing we would have done differently is booked a longer tour. After hearing all the amazing things about the outside it was a little sad to go inside and know we missed details because we didn't have the knowledge of a guide. The entire process of booking through Viator was great, everything was confirmed quickly, personalized emails were great, even a picture of our guide was sent in advance. I absolutely recommend this tour, as well as Viator, for your Barcelona visit.

About a week before our tour, we received a letter from the tour operator with a photo and information about our guide and tour. Ramon was prompt when he met us at the hotel and very helpful through out the tour. Our tour guide was amazing!! He was young and spunky. He knew his information and was able to answer questions. The best part of our trip to Barcelona! Would highly recommend you ask for Marcel, as he was what made the trip so special. He picked us up from our hotel, taught us how to use the subway, and spent two hours explaining the outside of the Sagrada Familia. He then gave us tickets to go inside.

Marc is our tour guide and he pick us up from our hotel even though we are in Sant Joan Despi which is a bit far from Barcelona. He's been patient and always nice to us and explain the La Sagrada Familia in details. He tried to answer all our questions in a way he can. Our guide, Jorge, met us at our hotel on-time and ready to begin our tour. We really liked that we took public transportation from our hotel to the Sagrada Familia. Jorge pointed out landmarks and gave us information on Barcelona during the 20 minute bus ride. When we arrived at our destination it was about a 2 block walk and Jorge told us to get prepared for an amazing site. As we rounded a corner, the façade came into view, and Jorge was right it was an amazing site. We spent about an hour walking around the grounds and gazing at the church while Jorge told us all about the construction and discussed each aspect of the façade. When it was time for entry to the Sagrada Familia, Jorge gave us our tickets and waited until we had entered the church before leaving us. _br/_ Our tickets included headsets for a self-guided tour of the interior and a timed entry to one of the towers. We spent about another hour inside gazing at the marvelous architecture and splendid sculptures. The self-guided tour also including the exterior of the building, so many of the areas Jorge told us about were repeated in the self-guided tour._br/_ We had signed up for a walking tour of Barcelona for later that day. Jorge suggested we have lunch after our Sagrada Familia tour and arranged for the walking tour guide to meet us at the restaurant so we would not have to go all the way back to our hotel. Jorge recommended a tapas restaurant that was excellent so we got a further taste of Barcelona._br/_ We would recommend this tour if you have limited time in Barcelona and want someone to coordinate your visit to this beautiful city. There are long lines to get tickets, so having all of that taken care of in advance is a real plus. Jorge had a wonderful personality, spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable, and was sincerely interested in making sure we enjoyed our visit.

This was an outstanding experience. Jacob picked us up at our apartment and we rode the Metro to the Sagrada Familia together. We were so happy that we were not in one of the many large tour groups that we saw. It was very crowded but because there were just the three of us, Jacob was able to put us in the best viwing areas. He is extremely knowledgeable and shared the information in a way that brought the history to life. Don't hesitate to book this tour - and ask for Jacob!

Our tour guide Allan met us at the hotel and took us by Metro to the Sagrada Familia. He was very knowledgeable, fun and easy going. He gave us a very detailed explanation of the exterior facades of the site as well the history of it. Also explained some of the local controversies surrounding some of the depictions of the Passion. Take the tour, you wont be sorry. He also kindly explained to us how to use the Metro and what ticket we were best served by.

Marc is a wonderful guide, giving us a vivid picture of the history of Barcelona and great information about some of the historic Gaudi-era buildings of central Barcelona. Sagrada Familia is an amazing, unique and beautiful cathedral--will be back to see it in 9 years when the central tower is finished! You won't be disappointed in this tour, or in Marc. He is smart, very informative and a great guy to spend time with--he is like your favorite brother giving a tour of a place he loves. I highly recommend this tour, and Marc.

There was a misunderstanding regarding the payment for the tower part of the tour but it was sorted out. Mark the guide was great! Jacob was our guide and he was outstanding. He was a native English speaker who fell in love with Barcelona and it was evident he was very passionate about his new adopted city. He started with a thorough history lesson of Barcelona which we really didn't have before being our first visit to the city, then explained the history of Sagrada Familia and Gaudi before going through a detailed explanation the outside design of the cathedral. Jacob also pointed out things to look for on the inside. After the tour, he gave us our tickets for the cathedral interior and pointed us to the correct line. The time just flew by! We learned so much about the cathedral that we wouldn't have picked up from the small museum inside the cathedral. The only area of improvement is for BCN Dreams Tours to offer different options for those wanting to climb the tower or include an audioguide for the interior. There was only 1 option for just admission to the cathedral. It said you could tell them you wanted to climb the tower but there wasn't an obvious place to do that. It would be better if you could choose it as part of the tour. I would have liked to get an audioguide to get more perspective on the cathedral interior

We were only in Barcelona for half a day and this tour was how we wanted to spend it. Our guide Ramon was a lovely young man who met us outside our B and B. He was easy to spot as they had sent a photo. He walked us to some nearby examples of Gaudi architecture before escorting us on the very clean and efficient underground right to the Cathedral. Ramon went to great pains to explain how safe it was as Barcelona has a reputation for pick pockets but we felt safe with him and his unlocked back pack!! His English was excellent as was his knowledge of the Cathedral. He had a folder of close up images of the facades and explained the meaning behind each one. He also offered to take our photos and took us to a great spot by the water across from the Sagrada to get it in the background. This was not a cheap tour, and he did not actually come in with us, but his knowledge was vast and he was very amenable. I would recommend this for anyone wanting an easy to understand friendly guide and if you have limited time.

Allan was a great tour guide! This was our first tour in the city and he was super helpful and incredibly friendly. His cool demeanor and sense of humor put us at ease in a new city. The private tour was well worth the money. We learned so much about Gaudi and The Sagrada Familia. While we were en route to our destination Allan also gave us an overview of Barcelona as a whole. It felt like we got two tours in one! I loved working with Viator and they were very accommodating when we needed to change the time of our tour. They even sent text messages and emails confirming the date/time of our tour.

We very much appreciated our tour of the Sagrada Familia - Ramon was right on time meeting us at our hotel, taught us how to use the Metro, and then gave an excellent presentation of the different facades, the background history of the church, Gaudi, and was very able to answer our questions and have a conversation about the church with us. We enjoyed our visit - and Ramon was very attentive and helpful - and made sure we got inside efficiently, as well as giving us information on what to look for when we were inside. It was great!
