Experience spectacular views of Barcelona from the water. Sail from Port Vell (known as the Old Harbor) with options that include either a light brunch, merienda (snack), or a refreshing frozen vermouth. Choose between a tour of the harbor and part of the coast (1.5-hour) or a coastal morning or afternoon longer tour (2-hour) that will take you along the city's coast up from the port.
Start your sailing experience meeting your professional skipper at the entrance of Port Vell. From here you will be taken to your boat, walking through the amazing Marina Port Vell where all the luxurious yachts and boats in Barcelona are anchored. After receiving a security briefing and an explanation of the boat's itinerary your tour will start. Depending on your selected option, your boat will sail through the harbor and a small part of the coast for 1.5 hours (harbor with vermouth freeze tour) or throughout Barcelona's coast during 2 hours (options with light brunch and merienda). Both itineraries will allow you to have a glimpse of the city's major points of interest like Columbus Monument or Sagrada Familia from the sea. If the weather conditions are good, you will be able to take a dip in the warm Mediterranean sea and then a refreshment will be served before going back to the Marina. During the itinerary, you can learn a bit about sailing or just relax sunbathing on the deck of the boat as you admire the city's views. Once the tour has finished, the boat will take you back to Port Vell where the sailing experience finishes.
Wonderful 2 hr sail into Port Vell and the harbor with a good look back on the city of Barcelona. Weather was great for April. Nice snacks and wine on board. We were the only ones on the tour so able to really learn from our guide. Thanks for everything.

Not the fault of the skipper. It was the lack of wind that made the trip a drag. The boat departed from Port Vell. Let me just say that the sailing was not even close to the experience I had imagined. The wind was so light that sailing turned into bobbing up and down in the water with people getting seasick. Some were two-seconds away from tossing their cookies. Meanwhile I ate the fruit and pastries the captain provided, as I suffered no ill effects myself, other than the incredible disappointment of not having a Mediterranean breeze blowing briskly through my hair. It just wasnt happeningmajor sigh! Honestly, we couldnt get back to port quickly enough for my daughter's sake. We finally convinced her to take an anti-nausea pill and by the time we made land, she was doing much better and ready for some family beach time at Barceloneta Beach. We rented our umbrellas and headed for the water. Now, that was great!

A Nice climate to sail away from the busy crowds but unfortunately not a climate November to take a dive. _br/_ Our skipper was so friendly and was cool the whole time.... _br/_ Since I was the only solo traveller besides three just married couples it was weird to be there but somehow the skipper came to rescue ...

Would probably do this again but with a group of people. I ended up being the only person on the tour that morning which was fine but also slightly awkward at the beginning. There should be a way to see or tell if you’re the only one who has purchased a tour lol. Otherwise, a lovely morning sailing.

Short sail through the yacht harbor, out to sea past the breakwater. Great to gain a different perspective of Barcelona from the sea. Boat was solid and yummy snacks, beer and sangria. Wished the captain had used the head sail used only the main, so not totally sailing. But otherwise really worth the effort, highly recommend.

Sailing experience redefined - and not in a good way!_br/_ It was a beautiful sunny warm although rather calm morning. We understand our skipper, Raymond, had no control over the weather. Unfortunately 2 hours circling in front of the breakwater at the mouth of the harbor using the motor the entire time does not make for much of a sailing experience. I have 46 years of sailing experience. I know it could have been better. We could have just sailed in light winds. We could have sailed North parallel to the beach and motored back. We could have gone further away from shore. What breeze we had was somewhat blocked by the Port Vell breakwater. We never even got past it. Raymond do put up the sails for about 5-10 minutes but never cut the engine. The instant another passenger said she wanted to swim he put down the sails and let her jump in. Then we motored in circles, ok, ovals, the rest of the time. Not a landmark was pointed out. Finally, light brunch truly means a few small pastries, juice boxes, and one bottle of water to share between the 5 passengers. As we returned to port we were offered beer and wine as an afterthought. My companion was unaware of the offer and I expect 2 of the other passengers did not hear the offer either. That said, our skipper was very pleasant and chatty, although not particularly interested in sailing today. The boat was nice enough and the head (toilet) was operational. I do not feel we got our $80/67€ worth by a long shot. Note to tour operators: when one troubles to book a sailing trip, one expects to sail. If one cares not to sail there are numerous other options.

We booked the 2 hr brunch tour. Most reviews mention Vicki but we had Raymond and his lovely son. We had a good time and my kids enjoyed it a lot. Our primary concern was that the sailing experience seemed very short since we spent around 30 minutes on each end very slowly motering in and out of the port I assume some speed restrictions in this area but it was a pity that it cut into our tour time by half. Overall our actual sailing time was very limited and we did not sail very far - we assumed that our booking was mistaken for 1.5 hr booking not the 2 hours brunch tour we booked. We did arrived 15 minutes early as requested in the booking details and waited - we were greeted at exactly the time our tour was scheduled to start. With a walk through the mariner to the boat, boarding, the very slow exit and return through the harbor and then mooring the boat included in our time our tour was over in a little under 2 hours.

So fun! Our skipper was knowledgeable and friendly, the boat was clean and comfortable, and the scenery was fantastic. The only issue we had was that it didn't last long enough. An hour and a half is not enough time to properly enjoy Port Vell and the view of Barcelona beaches.

What a great experience! Vicky was an awesome skipper--competent, knowledgable, friendly, and really fun. Took my 20 year old daughter while I was visiting her for a couple of days during her study abroad. We did the 2 hour with snack. Snack consisted of fuet wonderful sausage, cheese, crackers, dates, etc. Drinks were offered as well--beer, sodas, water. Definitely a highlight of my visit!

To start with it was difficult to find our meeting point. I did the afternoon 2 hour sail and to be frank it was extremely boring. We didnt really sail, engine was on the entire time. Our skipper said there wasn't enough wind but i sail often and do not think that was the case. We were just taken along the shore back and forth, it was so boring that i chose to lay on the front of the boat and go to sleep. Will definitely NOT repeat this and cant recommend it to anyone unless all you want is to sit on a moving boat.

The trip was ok. Our skipper was amazing, he was so friendly and extremely good at his job, he was the reason this trip was good! However there was a problem with the sails and the boat which meant we couldn't really get to sail. He brought us out of the harbour and we had some nice drinks and food. It was good fun but we didn't get to sail really.

This sailing experience is a MUST. Only regret is that we didn't book the longer tour. Vickie was an EXCEPTIONAL captain and entirely knowledgeable about all of the sights. If I am ever in Barcelona again this is my first stop!

Xavier was an awesome skipper and guide. We started off with 6 of us, however 3 were not feeling well and got off. Initially he took us out into the Med and then because of the others being ill he let them off and then we sailed around the harbour and allowed those remaining to steer. Refreshments provided and everything is of the highest standard. Xavier was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and this was probably the highlight of my time in Barcelona. I cannot recommend this enough!

I cannot rate the trip too highly. We were a party of 3 and there were joined by a pleasant American family of 6. We were offered plenty of drinks and the skipper was very engaging. It was a most enjoyable 1.5 hours of sailing. Just from an admin point of view, I would recommend the pick up point be more clearly identified as we had a little panic trying to find it and worrying about being late. Thank you!

Xavier? was a superb guide. Despite the challenging weather conditions he took us out onto the Med and then compensated for the poor weather by sailing around the harbour and allowing me to steer. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and this was the highlight of our time in Barcelona. I cannot recommend this enough!
