Start your Barcelona sightseeing tour with a drive to Barcelona's famous hill of Montjuïc, the site of the 1992 Olympic Games, which offers excellent views over the city. Then stop briefly at the Catalunya National Art Museum, and continue down to Plaça Espanya and on past the modernist buildings of the Eixample area.
On your way to La Sagrada Famlia, drive through Passeig de Gracia, home to designer stores and two of Barcelona’s most renowned Antonio Gaudí buildings – La Pedrera and Casa Batlló.
When you arrive at La Sagrada Familia, your skip-the-line access allows you to avoid the very long queues and go straight in!
You’ll then head to the oldest part of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter, where you’ll leave your coach and enjoy a walking tour through the narrow streets of medieval Barcelona. Stop for a complimentary glass of cava (Catalan sparkling wine) in a local market. From there, travel back to the early Middle Ages, visiting the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace, the original 2,000-year-old Roman temple and part of the Cathedral .
Continue to the Born district, where you’ll have free time for a quick lunch before heading to the magnificent Santa Maria del Mar church, one of the most beautiful in Barcelona. Your tour ends here.

The six of us had an enjoyable time touring Barcelona. The places we visited were the usual popular attractions. We went on the day of the Catalonia celebration/protest with 1 million people in the streets, so finding parking was challenging. Our guide did well and was knowledgeable and friendly.

We arrived in Barcelona only two days after the terrorist attack on Las Ramblas, but both the locals and most of the visitors chose to continue their lives and tours without fear. Our driver/guide for the half-day tour was Felipe, of Explore Catalunya, and he was EXCELLENT. Spoke very good English, was a careful driver, and gave us a driving tour past EIXAMPLE, to MontJuic to overlook the city, the Olympic stadium, and later got us quickly through the crowded La Sagrado Familia line, where we met at the bookstore after our audio tour. Instead of going to La Boqueria, through which the terrorist driver escaped, he took us to the locals' market, Santa Catalina, where we later enjoyed lunch we had been to Las Ramblas and La Boqueria a week earlier. Our walking tour took us through the Gothic Quarter, Jewish Quarter, Cathedral Maria de Mar, El Born, and many other sites that were not originally on our list. Felipe was flexible and stopped at the Palau de la Musica Catalana, which was not on the tour, to check tour times. My wife and daughter-in-law returned there after lunch to see the beautiful glassworks. When we asked about a good place for dinner, Felipe took us to see two different restaurants and got business card from each so we could make the final decision. Our family chose and returned to Tapeo later and the food and service were excellent. At the end of the tour we asked to be dropped off at Santa Catalina instead of the Cathedral Maria de Mar, which Felipe was happy to do, ending a really wonderful and rewarding touring day.

This tour was BY FAR the highlight of our entire trip. Rodrigo was so knowledgeable, friendly and patient with our two children - ages 4 and 11 - and kept the entire family engaged throughout the tour. We were skeptical at first because of the price but it was worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

Anna was a wonderful guide! We hit all of the great sites along with a nice local lunch in a cool market. Just know your transportation is via Taxi, which is really a great idea so that parking isn't an issue as you travel from location to location.

This was a convenient way to see a large part of Barcelona with a local guide who knew and loved her city and its history. She arranged to meet us at our hotel and showed up on time. I was a little surprised that we took taxis around town instead of using a private car, but once I saw all the places we went, and how difficult it likely would have been to get parking - it made sense. Plus, we walked a lot too, and did not end up in the same place we started.

We would have liked to have had the tickets to see Sagrada Familia's roof top. The audio tape guide was nice, but we would have loved to have the view from the top, too. guide very nice and knew how to get around city and parking for ultimate convenience. Disappointed he could not take us into venues and give us talks. Audios were not sufficient and we were sorry we didn't know to ask for a guide licensed to narrate our tours. Also water would have been a nice plus.

Excellent tour. Our guide Enrique took the right amount of time at each venue. We made a special request for a specific venue when we booked on Viator, but it looked like that the request may not passed have been to the company who did the tour.
