Skip the Line: Casa Batllo and Gaudi Guided Walking Tour in Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain
Explore the magical work of Gaudi, and how he forever shaped the face of Barcelona. This tour covers "the apple of discord" to Sagrada Familia and explores the Master's innovative style and his unique destiny. Embark on a tour that will allow you to get to see Barcelona from the inside and to gain insights into Catalan identity. Enjoy all of this plus a skip the line ticket to Casa Batllo - Gaudi's most accomplished building.
This engaging, fun and full of treats and surprises tour takes you through the best of Barcelona. This tour is a perfect combination between both a guided walking tour and a skip-the-line ticket to Casa Batllo*. Start with the guided walking tour that takes you from Casa Batllo to Sagrada Familia - Antoni Gaudi's greatest masterpieces, and one of Barcelona's greatest icons. The walking tour includes a mix of great tourist attractions and off-the-tourist-path local gems. It also concentrates on the work of the man who gave the city its new face in the early 1900's - Antoni Gaudi, the inventive and unique architect of Sagrada Familia and most of the city's iconic landmarks. The tour, however, also includes a 'hidden" Barcelona side to it with it's big streets and side alleys, stories and places that are secrets off-the-tourist-path.
After all of this, head on to the Sagrada Familia. At the end of your tour, your guide will hand you a skip-the-line ticket to Casa Batllo, Gaudi's masterpiece, where you will see it's 7 floors of architectural fantasy that comprises the Starship chimneys, bat-shaped windows, the dragon rooms and the Milky Way stairwell.
Use your VIP ticket right after your tour or any time the day of the tour. For your ticket lets you skip the line any time, 9am to 8pm, and can be used without reservation. Enjoy the company of a native of Barcelona as your guide, and a very small group, so you get all your questions answered and you get treated as a friend.
We loved Casa Batllo, but were a bit confused by the guided portion of this tour. Our guide was on time and very friendly, but the tickets for Casa Batllo are for use after the tour. The guided tour is really a walk around some of the historic palaces by Casa Batllo, not Gaudi's works per se.

When I booked this tour, I didn't realize it would be a very small group! Since my travelling companion was ill on the day of the tour, I found myself on a private tour! It was fantastic, and I saw some amazing things and made a friend in Barcelona.
