Your guide will pick you up from central Barcelona in the morning and take you to beautiful Montserrat to explore the Monastery before heading to Oller del Mas, a stunning 10th-century castle whose beautiful winery reigns over 1,000 acres (405 hectares) of land.
With your guide, spend time exploring the vineyards and touring the production plant and the cellar. Sit back and relax as you taste three wines paired with authentic Spanish tapas. You’ll also learn about wine production from the winery’s oenologists, who are experts in the science of wine making.
This was the best spent 6 hours in Barcelona! We (6 people in all) were amazed by the beauty and history of Monserrat. Our guide, Albert, was the BEST! He was full of information, facts and a well rounded sense of the history of this beautiful place. The trip to Oller del Mas Winery was the icing on the cake. _br/_ I wish we could have had Albert spend the entire week in Spain with us. He was truly the best guide of all those we encountered._br/_ Give his a Raise . . . he deserves it!

Montserrat is beautiful, great views, and winery was relaxing and informative. Tour guide and his team had a full bus and we made the most of every minute of the tour. He spent time getting to know everyone and obviously cared that the tour group would be more than satisfied.

I really liked this trip. A small nice group and a very nice guide. Our guides name was Borja and he was very good in english and very knowledge about everythin. The bus trip was only 50-60 minutes up to Monserrat in a nice air conditioned bus with a safe and good driver. The wine tasting and tapas was great. Can definitively recommend this trip.

Alex was a great guide very friendly and informative. The views at Montserrat are top notch. (If you want more time to explore all this site has to offer I recommend the full day tour, we only did the half day and I wish we had more time here to see more things and do a bit more hiking around the mountain that this site is on.) We got to sample two red wines and one white at Oller del Mas winery. Our group decided to buy a bottle of the rose to try as well. All were very good to me (note: I am a dry wine fan so if you like sweet wines the ones we got to try were all on the dryer side). All in all this was a very good tour and a fabulous way to spend a day (or half day) in Barcelona.

Excellent tour. Very scenic, much more scenic than was expected. Albert our tour guide was terrific. It would be nice to consider doing the full day option of this tour if you have time so you could spend more time hiking up at Montserrat. The winery is nice as well. The tour went on schedule and everything was well organized from that standpoint. The motorcoach used was also very nice. Would highly recommend.

Our tour guide Jordi was wonderful and the wine was amazing. Montserrat was a bit short as we only had 40 minutes of free time, but enough to take in the beauty of the area. Would highly recommend if you are short on time but looking for something great to do.

That was a very good tour. First of all,its a small group secondly its an early tour ,thirdly we had a lovely tour guide that was very nice and accommodating .We got there before the crowd. We had time to go around , to use the bathroom without falling in line and enough time to take pictures.I will definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour - very nice bus ride up the mountain with great history and background on the way. Start at the top with a lovely church, museum, and great views. look up the weather many people were under dressed for the wind during our trip but us. Lorenzo was a great tour guide. Hop back in the bus headed down the mountain to the vineyard. Tour the vineyard and find out info on the process etc. Enjoy a good amount of food samples with 3 wine pairings. Wonderful experience. Each group 10 in size, very intimate. Great meeting others!

Great tour, despite the horrible weather that day, the visit to Montserrat is always special. Our guide. Jordi, was very nice and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is that on rainy days the company should provide cheap raincoats to the tour members._br/_ The winery was incredible over 1,000 years old and so much history. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Have recommended it to friends who hare visiting this month.

Montserrat was very beautiful and very much worth doing. However, the wine tour was a little disappointing. The wine wasn’t great and tapas weren’t impressive. Alex was a fantastic guide though! Made the whole trip interesting.

This trip was absolutely amazing and one that we will never forget. Albert was a fabulous guide with a wealth of knowledge. The trip to the monastery and getting to see the Black Madonna was a spiritual experience that was then topped off with lunch in a 1000 year old castle. Be sure to visit all of local cheese vendors along the sidewalk outside of the café and gift shop. We brought back lots of unbelievable cheese and wine that we have enjoyed with our friends back home.

Montserrat tour was amazing. Our guide, articulate and the cathedral, gorgeous. The place we wine tasted had no heat and it was a very very cold day. It made it hard to appreciate the wine and tapas.

Wow,this tour was great, but I recommend to take it on summer, because it can get cold and rainy and you won't enjoy as much, unless you like this type of climate. Also half a day is more than enough, is not big. The guide tour,Marta, the best and the winery experience exceptional!

The tour was amazing!! The tour guides were funny and knowledgeable and definitely made the experience even better! The sights were unbelievable and even though it rained for the first half it did not take away from the day. The pictures I took will always remind me of what an amazing tour we had but they do not do Montserrat justice at just how breathtaking it really was in person. We had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy on our own as well as being guided.

The views are breathtaking on top of the mountain. The vineyard is beautiful and the guide was so friendly. Wine tasting was done in the wine cellar and the tapas were delicious. Plenty of time to explore Montserrat on your own.

This tour was done perfectly from the start. The meeting place near Hard Rock Cafe in Central Barcelona was an excellent choice. The knowledge of our local guide in terrific English was outstanding. The beautiful ride to the mountains was breathtaking. Montserrat is a gem! Amazing history and well worth the trip to see. This was a truly awesome day tour! Jordie was an excellent guide.
