VERY strenuous, but a once in a lifetime experience. Very hard to get up there, harder to get down but totally worth it. The last bit is flat out rock climbing. A few times I thought I was going to pass out. Go slow if you need to. Our guide Hilton was amazing and helped us a ton. Only do this if you are in good shape, it is no joke!

Hilton was a great guide. He gave us a thorough history lesson as well as a biology lesson on the fauna and flora of St. Kitts while we hiked this well-maintained trail. It was challenging but beautiful. The trees in the rainforest were amazing to see. I could have spent all afternoon just exploring the forest. _br/_ We will DEFINITELY do this hike again with Hilton!_br/_ Good job!

This was a great hike. It is very steep with quite a few wet roots and rocks. Wear good shoes and be ready for a workout. Doobie, our guide, was great. The smaller the group, the better.

The hike was intense but very worthwhile!! Our guide Hilton didn't say much and spent most of the hike down texting on his phone, which was very rude and annoying, but he got us up and back safely which is most important. Another guide might be better in terms of info on the forest and area. But the hike and views from the forest and up top were amazing! Our route was about 5 miles each way and an elevation of around 4000 ft. Again, the hike is intense and definitely for those that are in good shape. There are areas of the trail that are no more than 24 in diameter, just to keep in mind if that may be an issue and around 5 sections where you are climbing at about a 70-degree incline where you are climbing rocks and tree roots, but it was a blast and a good workout to boot.

It was very nice, but a bit overpriced.

This was a very adventurous hike. I saw some information that said that it was 2.5 miles. My fitbit says that it was 3.5 miles and 65 of that was up a pretty steep incline. Everyone in our party was in agreement about the distance. It is challenging but a lot of fun. Our guide was good and kept us moving. You will be on all fours several times as you climb up the mountain!
