Palms Court Gardens and Restaurant Day Pass
Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis
Palms Court Garden is the exquisite privately owned property with stunning views on the Basseterre harbor. Its lush beautiful gardens host a spectacular infinity pool and bar, restaurant (breakfast & lunch daily) and the production site of Shell Works St Kitts and adjacent gift boutique. Visitors may watch as beautiful shell & jewelry creations develop right in front of their very eye.
The vicinity of Palms Court Gardens to the Cruise Port and town center gives you the opportunity to plan your day independently, and visit Palms Court on a private schedule. You can choose to take a beautiful 12 -15 minute walk along the ocean or a short 3-minute taxi ride. The taxi stand is located at Port Zante, shortly after leaving the ship.
Upon arriving, visitors will be invited to chose the garden path to discover many beautiful half-hidden spots, garden details and interesting plants, of which the most important ones are labeled with botanical signs, giving a short description of the origin, botanical name and medical use. After passing the tropical fruit trees and herbal garden, the cottage style workshop and its truly unique shell/jewelry boutique will be next. Just past the cottage, the garden unfolds itself into the spectacular view of the harbor, old town center, Nevis and the spectacular infinity pool.
Luxury deck chairs are nestled around the natural shaped pool, Jacuzzi and the shingle roofed pool bar. One of the highlights next to a wide selection of cocktails, beers and sodas are the signature tropical juices, prepared daily from tropical seasonal fruits. To the left side of the pool, located at the main house, is the à la carte restaurant, offering various international dishes, starting from small snacks to extensive sumptuous meals and locally produced ice cream. Seating is mainly outdoors, offering the same spectacular views as from the pool side seating. Don't miss the chance to climb up the stairs onto the deck by the fountain-square, right after the restaurant for a more elevated viewpoint offering unsurpassed views on ocean and mountain-side alike.
