Safe and loads of fun - these self-drive dinghies are an ideal way to explore the beaches and coves of St Kitts Southeast Peninsula. No boating experience is necessary and each boat is designed for double occupancy. Each mini speedboat is a wonderful fun experience for two. If you are a single passenger, your guide will attempt to pair you with another single passenger or if you desire to be alone on the boat, you may be able to ride alone if space allows.
Experience the beaches and coves of St Kitts southeast peninsula in a safe and fun mini powerboat where no boating experience is necessary. Your tour will begin with pickup from most hotels. Once at the beach, your guide will give you a safety briefing before your climb aboard your personal watercraft.
Once aboard, open up the throttle as you skim over the water along the sheltered southeast peninsula. Stop to snorkel in the crystal clear waters and view the rich marine life. Perhaps stop at a tiny beach inaccessible by land or by larger boats, before heading back to Frigate Bay Beach for refreshments. Then, either reboard your included land transport back to your hotel or chill out on the beach and return independently later.
The boats are designed for double occupancy. Two boats are enough for a family of 4. If you are traveling alone then you may be paired with another single, or if available, you may be given a boat of your own.

Awesome experience - speed boats were fun and the snorkeling was great experience. For those that are considering doing this adventure, I recommend not doing the early morning option. We did the 10:45am and it was fine but I would think the one at 8:30am may be too cool

So much fun, it was like an open sea race between all the boats, it made me feel like a teenager!_br/_ The snorkeling on this island doesn't offer much, but getting in the water is always a great feeling.

Didn't know what to expect...the guides did a wonderful job explaining how the boats work and showing us the way....they mentioned that the water was choppy and it was......the bay we stopped in was very lovely ...Leslie and Travis were so helpful getting us back in the boats after the stop...they had to do it twice for me....not much to see with the snorkel but I did like the rock formation on the sea bed and the water was clean and clear for swimming....the return ride was much more relaxing since the water had settled some...I enjoyed the surprise snacks and guava juice after....it was a fun thing

What a fun trip this turned out to be! From the minute we arrived at the dock, we were entertained by Chuck and Darrel?. The speedboats were a blast. Snorkeling was a little disappointing because there wasnt much to see, mostly brown rocks and a few tiny fish, but all the same we enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this trip to all except those seeking a serious snorkel adventure.

This tour was a blast for most of our group. The men in charge were efficient and friendly. We were able to speed to a cove about a 15-20 minute ride and do some snorkeling for an hour - so definitely long enough to see the area. The boats were not cut like a jet ski rather the bottoms were fairly flat. That would be perfect for the rider who wants to feel every wave and bounce across the water. However, if anyone gets motion sickness, this might not be the trip for them. The waves are decent sized. The punch after was excellent!

We ended up only being able to book the early trip. Good thing. We had snorkeling all to ourselves before 3 large cruise ship boats showed up with large groups of people all of whom were going to snorkel at the same Bay Area. We felt very luck to have had booked the early trip. Great ride on the boats.

The mini-speedboat was SO much fun! The tour leader encouraged us to go full-throttle and these little boats have some power to them! However, the ride out to the snorkel site was incredibly choppy, despite it being a beautiful, storm-free day. If you've ever snorkeled in places like Belize or off the Yucatan Penninsula in Mexico or Hawaii then you will be disappointed by the snorkeling here. There was very little diversity in fish or coral but just being underwater in this secluded cove was a blast. Apparently you can occasionally see a sea turtle there. The tour promises refreshments upon return from the snorkeling. I was so hoping for tropical fruits like papaya, guava, mango, pineapple and fried plantain. Instead there were oranges, watermelons and potato chips -- nothing special. Overall, I really enjoyed the activity but in hindsight probably wouldn't pay for it again.

Booked this tour from cruise ship. We had to wait for 2 people who never showed up, so our tour was an hour short. We had only one snorkeling sight stop. Other than than the boats were fun.

We had a great time and it was a really fun trip. Got off the cruise ship in port and met at the marina close by. We were met with one of their reps and other groups met us and got onto a bus to the other side of the island Caribbean side. Our bus driver was high spirited and offered a great job giving us information on the area and about St Kits. We got to the marina where the boats were, all of us were given life jackets, snorkel gear, a quick run down of how to use the boats. They we all followed the guides out to the ship wreck several miles away. The snorkeling was great and the boat tour was really much better than jet skis. It was a little hard on our back ends later, but we had a great trip!

We went August 18, 2016. I have to tell you, out of a 7 day Royal Caribbean cruise, this trip was the highlight of the week!! Tori, Oh Man, and Travis were great guides and hosts, professional and fun all the way!! It was perfect to get away from the crowds, have a some fun and freedom on the mini-boats, snorkel, and come back to some nice refreshments and fresh fruit. I would book this again for our family Me, husband, daughter 14yo, and son 11yo without hesitation.

This was our favorite activity while staying in St. Kitts. The boats were fast and fun and the snorkeling was great, we saw a lot of fish and sea turtles. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Island.

Absolutely fantastic! There were a total of 12 in our group ranging in age from 13 to 65. Boats were safe and had decent enough power to not get bored._br/_ The snorkel spot our guides took us to was nice and calm and the water was very clear, as one would expect. The Mini speed boats was a lot of fun for our group of 12. Touring the island followed by snorkeling along a abandoned boat. The guys who took us out were awesome, they were a lot of fun and very helpful. Recommend this adventure for those over 10 years of age. Boats are fast and bring your water proof cameras!!!

While a pleasant tour group of personnel, the excursion called for more. The follow-the-leader boat trip to an at best so-so snorkeling site left us wanting more - a second snorkeling stop and a chance to have a little fun with the boats.

This Mini Speedboat excursion was awesome! We are frequent cruisers and this topped my family's list of excursions we had ever done! The boats were fast, stable and fun with plenty of room for two people. There was room for our snorkeling gear and our personal belongings on the boat too. I would love to own one of these! The guide was very nice and gave us freedom to go as fast as we wanted to, we didn't have to stay together in one little group. We enjoyed the snorkeling too as it was around a shipwreck.

We booked this trip while on a cruise. Pick up at the cruise port was easy and on time with a short trip to the excursion site. We had a great group of guys take us out just the two of us...due to lack of other guests we each got our own boat! We had a blast! The boats were easy to use and fun to race in! The snorkeling was good with lots of fish to look at. When it was over they promptly returned us to the cruise port. Over all we enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. The only thing I could make a note of is the boats could be..for some, little hard to get back into. The guys are more than willing and ready to help but for some, getting back on could be a difficult task. Over all, St. Kitts Mini Speedboat Snorkel Adventure is a 2 thumbs up excursion and we had a great time!

We had so much fun! The weather was spectacular. Steve, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the island. The water was crystal clear at each snorkeling spot. We had more than enough time at each spot. We loved driving the speed boats. They were awesome. I would totally recommend this tour!

We did this tour to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and what a fantastic experience it was. Everyone working on this tour was safety conscious, helpful and accomodating, the boats were fast, the snorkelling fun and the beach clean and secluded. Thoroughly recommended, we would definitely do this again given the chance
