Tibet is one of the most mystical and spiritually holy places on earth. Explore this sacred land and visit the majestic Potala Palace, where you will also meet the hospitable Tibetan people with their unique folk customs. The tour will also show you the diversity of Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, the top travel destinations for any China tours.
Day 1: Beijing Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B+L) Full day tour to Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch is served.
Day 3: Beijing (B) Full day to Badaling Great Wall, a jade factory and the Sacred Way. Driver by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back. To leave you more time on the Great Wall, lunch is not included. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel, and a light lunch on your own.
Overnight in Beijing: Novotel Beijing Xin Qiao (4-star)
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L) Visit the Summer Palace and a pearl store. You will serve you an a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant. In the afternoon, following your guide to trace the old Beijing culture by walking through the original Hutong alleys. Take a flight to Xi'an and check in at the hotel.
Day 5: Xi'an (B+L+D) Full day tour to the amazing Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, a pottery-making factory, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the famous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with the Dumpling Dinner. A special home cooked lunch at a local family is served today.
Overnight in Xi'an: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star)
Day 6: Xi'an - Lhasa (B) Take a morning flight to Lhasa and then transfer to the finest local hotel for a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude of 3,650 meters above the sea level.
Day 7: Lhasa (B+L) Visit the Norbulingka Park the Sera Monastery and a typical Tibetan family.
Day 8: Lhasa (B+L)
Visit the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, Gyangjian Tangka Art Store and the Barkhor Street, as well as the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital.
Overnight in Lhasa: Xinding Hotel (4-star)
Day 9: Lhasa - Shanghai (B+L) Visit Tibet Museum in the morning. Board an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Your guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the reserved hotel for checking in.
Day 10: Shanghai (B+L) Full day visit to Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, a silk shop, the Bund, Nanjing Road and an ancient cultural street Tianzifang. A la carte farewell lunch is served.
Overnight in Shanghai: Pullman Shanghai Jing An (4-star)
Day 11: Shanghai (B) Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
