At 7:30 in the morning, your English-speaking guide, coach and driver will pick you up from your hotel in central Beijing to start today’s trip. Your tour guide will contact you to confirm pick-up time in the evening before the tour date.
The Forbidden City is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. The splendid architecture of Forbidden City represents the essence and culmination of traditional Chinese architectural accomplishment. The second stop is Temple of Heaven. Built 600 years ago, it was used by ancient emperors to hold ceremonies praying for good harvest.
After Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, you will head to Summer Palace, the much loved summer retreat of the ancient imperial families. The lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. After the tour, drop off at your hotel at around 5pm.
Tour guide's English was ok and quite understandable. He's also helpful and friendly. The website did not mention extra cost in the dragon boat ride into the summer palace.

the guide tour operator was 1 hour late. although he is a nice person, his English was poor, therefore very difficult to understand him. _br/_ tried to contact viator for confirmation the day before our trip but without success. _br/_ awful experience. I would strongly recommend you do not use viator, they are very unprofessional. it is just waste of money.

This was by far the best tour I have ever been on and that says a lot because I have traveled on 5 continents._br/_ The guide Roy was unbelievable. We were 8 people that really got along from 4 different countries. He was so accommodating that he managed to work in an extra stop at the Olympic Stadium which was missed on the tour from hell that it was supposed to be on so I was really happy. Everything was to perfection. If I went back to Beijing I would request this tour company to take a tour with. So professional and I can't say enough good things about them.
