Coach Day Tour - Mutianyu Great Wall with Pickup from 36 hotels in Beijing

The Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District of Beijing and is 73 kilometers from Beijing downtown. It was originally built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 557) and reconstructed in Ming Dynasty to strength its construction.   A tour inclusive of 2-way coach transfers from your hotel to Mutianyu Great Wall, enjoy the magnificent construction and breathtaking views on the summit.  No forced shopping to any tourist shop or factory before or after the tour.

Every morning, the coach bus starts picking up visitors from 36 hotels located between the 1st ring road to 4th ring road, an area of 302 square km in Beijing.  If your hotel is not in the pickup list, you will be recommended to go to Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen to join in this tour.

Mutianyu Great Wall was built in soaring mountain ridges, Mutianyu has magnificent construction and compact layout. Its breathtaking views with the surrounded mountains and elegant green forests and vegetation are also attractive features to tourists.

The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is 22 kilometers total in length, obviously we will not visit all 22 watchtowers. Though you can walk as long as you can on the Great Wall, because the Wall was built on high mountains, people usually visit 5 watch towers only.

No tourist shop, no factory visit
You will not be asked to visit any gift shop opened for tourists, or visit any kind of factory.  

Why?  In history, foreign visitors were asked to visit some state-owned factories and Friendship Shops, because Chinese authority wanted to tell you that socialism is better than capitalism.  Late more and more factories and gift shops found out it was a good idea to sell products to tourists, and they tried to offer some benefits to tour companies to include shop visit in the itinerary.  Eventually many tourists decide that they have the right to say NO to any factory, factory outlet or gift shop.
