Mutianyu offers you an alternative experience of visiting Great Wall compared with the Badaling Section, Mutianyu has a beautiful landscape all the year around.

Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at approximately 8:00am. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall. It offers you an alternative experience of visiting Great Wall. Compared to the popular Wall at Badaling section, this Section is older than Badaling and is a more challenging climb, so an easy cable car ride to the top is offered. Before enjoying the panoramic views of the Mutianyu Great Wall, however, you will visit the National Stone Place and learn about china's most precious stone.

Brilliant time at Great Wall, but had to pay an extra 100 yuan each to come down on the toboggan. Could not see Bird Nest as this tour does not go there, just stops on the road a distance away. Visibility was low the day we were there so disappointed not to see it as was a specific sight of tour
