Group Day Hiking Tour: Jinshanling Great Wall

Hike the Jinshanling Great Wall over the course of 8-hours with your English-speaking guide. Attain panoramic views of the landscape with you and your friends or family. The trek is suitable for all ages and skill levels. Beginners are welcome.

Meet your guide in the lobby of your downtown Beijing hotel at approximately 6:00am to start the day. Then, begin your 3-hour drive to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall for a 9:00am arrival. Start your hike along the east section of the wall, first constructed during the Ming Dynasty by the general Xu Da. The general supervised and directed the construction of the Great Wall. Later in the years, Qi Jiguang led a number of defense works while guarding the north area in 1567. The round trip hike is about 10 km and will take about 4 hours. Each tower has its own unique feature and look. The lack of crowds will make it easy to explore and take photos along the way. Once you have finished your hike, transfer back to your downtown Beijing accommodations.
