One Day Bus Tour: Mutianyu Great Wall Visiting With Lunch Inclusive

The Great Wall is always a must-visit site in Beijing. During this tour at least 3 hours will be arranged to explore the Mutianyu section of Great Wall, which is fully-preserved with the best architecture. Get ready for hiking or take cable car at your own cost. Chinese lunch will be arranged during the tour.

Your guide will pick you up between 7am to 8am from below 4 centrally located meeting points:

• 7:15am: Please meet at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing
• 7:30am:Holiday Inn Express Dongzhimen
• 7:45am: Please meet at the Exit E of Dongzhimen Subway Station
• 8:00am: Please meet at The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel

Head to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, which is much earlier than the Badaling section.

You will arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall around 9:30am. The round-trip hike is about 3.72823 miles (6 km) and takes about 3 hours to complete. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section was used to serve as the northern barrier, which defended the capital and the imperial tombs. It’s known for its beautiful surroundings which includes dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of a year.

Hiking will end around 1:30pm. Your lunch will be served in a Chinese restaurant near by the Great Wall and then you will return downtown and be dropped off along the subway station.
