Your expert guide will lead you through the winding streets of Beijing and tell you stories and facts about every stop you make. See the beautiful city skyline illuminated as you bike along Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Enjoy the scenic and lush environment of Shichahai Lake and Jingshan Park and cycle down Nanluoguxiang Alley to see trendy shops and bistros built along Beijing’s ancient alleys.
Avoid the crowds on this relaxing guided bike ride through beautiful Beijing at night! After meeting your tour guide in front of the Drum Tower, hop on a bike and start your three-hour evening adventure in Beijing, where you can stop, take pictures and learn about the various sites you visit.
Follow your guide on a moderate ride along a hutong (an ancient alleyway lined with traditional courtyard residences) near Drum Tower and make your way to the scenic Shichahai Lake. See the lights beautifully reflected on the lake as you ride past ancient buildings coupled with modern restaurants, bars and shops.
After a few minutes of cycling, find yourself in beautiful Jingshan Park, where you can admire traditional Chinese temples and pavilions peeking behind the park's lush greeneries. Head toward the Forbidden City and ride alongside the moat as the imperial city looms in the background. Then, make your way to Tiananmen Square to see important structures like Tiananmen Tower, Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum and the Great Hall of the People. Enjoy this calm square at night and marvel at the city lights illuminating beyond.
Cycle over to Wangfujing Snack Street and Donghuamen Night Market to enjoy the wonderful scents of street food vendors. Sample some local delicacies (own expense) to replenish yourself for your bike ride! Then, see past and present collide with a visit to Nanluoguxiang Alley, where modern boutiques, bars and restaurants stand on ancient streets beside traditional courtyard residences.
After enjoying the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of Beijing at night, your guide will lead you back to the original departure point.

The tour voucher said we must confirm the tour by phone or email 24 hours prior. Despite multiple attempts we were unable to contact the local operator by phone. A last ditch effort by email did get a response but too late for us to make the one hour trip across Beijing for the tour. We were not willing to make that trip without confirmation. Not sure why we should have to confirm a tour that was payed for in advance. If a local number is supplied, someone should answer the phone. Very poor service. Very disappointed we missed the tour.

had a lot of fun. took night tour between flights. hour from airport. we were 1.5 hours late. but the guide was still there waiting for us. it would be a lot better in the day as you would see more. but at night there was no traffic. guide was awsome. perfect english. was a easy ride. bike was typical old thing. but worked perfectly. super easy way to see many of bejings sites.

The private bike tour around Beijing was excellent, even though the temperature was near freezing. The tour guide, Herbert, was very knowledgeable and took me to places I would not have found myself. It was an excellent cultural experience. I would highly recommend the tour!

Dean was our tour guide. His English was excellent and almost as important he was very personable. I really liked how he was willing to adjust the tour to myself and my daughters interest. We were a little nervous about biking in Beijing at night.....have no fears ....felt very safe! Biking for us personally is by far and away the best way to see a city.

My son had not ridden a bicycle in years, so we was not comfortable on his bike. Our tour guide, Dan, was very understanding and offered to make the tour a walking event instead. We likely missed a few sites, but Dan was great and was patient in walking with us through the sites all the way to Tienamen Square several miles away. It was great to see sites at night that we would also see in the day time a few days later. Dan was very engaging, information, and spoke great English.

Yesterday was our first day in Beijing & we have already seen so much. We did your Private Bike Tour at Night & our guide was Amy. Amy was absolutely amazing. She was fun, thoughtful & so knowledgable about all of the local sights & customs. Her English was perfect which was a huge relief, as we don't speak the local language at all. We saw lots of the major attractions as well as tiny little crowded lane ways with so much culture & history. We are extremely glad that we did this tour & would recommend it to any newcomers to China. We give Amy a 5 star rating! 10 out of 10 for sure!

It was awesome to see Beijing at night. However, if you know anything about the traffic, it was also scary to do. But, we had terrific guides who kept us safe and took us to great places to see at night. A totally different experience of Beijing and well worth it.
