Berlin, Germany
Settle in for an Evening at Charlottenburg Palace, with dinner, a self-guided palace tour and concert featuring the Berlin Residence Orchestra included. This tour regularly sells out weeks in advance, so with a choice of four seating categories available, book ahead of time to avoid disappointment!
Charlottenburg Palace is today's largest residence of the royal house of Hohenzollern in Germany's capital Berlin. The sumptuous building is surrounded by unique baroque gardens featuring various architectural styles. The palace includes magnificently furnished chambers and ceremonial rooms with exclusive art collections.
You will begin the evening with a self-guided palace tour followed by a three course candlelight dinner in a cozy ambiance located at the Charlottenburg Palace Orangery. The beautiful performance by the Berlin Residence Orchestra will complete your evening.
The concert offers four (4) ticket categories. Categories VIP, A, B and C refer to the front, middle and rear part of the auditorium respectively. VIP guests enjoy preferred seating at the concert and will be served a glass of Champagne during the intermission.
Lovely evening - music was amazing. Food could do with a bit more variety.

Lovely evening. The tour, dinner and concert were above expectations--menu was well thought out and catered, the tour was most enjoyable but you need to keep track of closing time, and there is a cute coffee shop where you can enjoy a drink before dinner time concert was very professional and enjoyable. The Palace is outside the old town, so taxi is required. We had to wait a bit at the taxi stand to get a ride back to our hotel. Glad we made the effort.

Excellent experience at the Palace! The only criticsm is the main dish of the dinner. Tough Beef! the Potato Soup was good and the Apple Strudel was delicious. Music was wonderful and satisfying. Well worth the VIP ticket price.

An amazing day at the Charlottenburg Palace. The tour started with an audio guide around the Palace and we had time to wander around the massive Gardens before Dinner. Dinner was of a very high standard, with very helpful Staff dressed in early 18th Century costumes. The additional drink prices were reasonable._br/_ The evening concert was a very enjoyable experience, with a mixture of Opera and Classical Music, making it ideal for those wanting to get a taster of this type of music._br/_ Throughout the day, the process of collecting tickets to the concert was made very easy by the pre-booking by the Viator Staff and the very friendly Staff at the Palace._br/_ Thank you for a great experience and we will be doing it again, when we next visit Berlin.

The setting was great, the dinner was of high standard and enjoyable. The concert was of a excellent quality. The only problem occurred when leaving late at night the cloakroom attendants refused to assist our non German speaking party which included a young child and the elderly to arrange a taxi despite being assured when we booked that these people would be helpful with this issue. We were then left wandering outside the palace streets in the dark and rain until we eventually found a train station with a taxi rank outside. This was very disappointing and had a negative impact on what would have been a very enjoyable evening.

Venue was elegant, and the performance was world class. Dessert was great, but the main course duck was good if you like duck. I do not.

Lovely dinner and beautiful concert - plus the Charlottenburg is a gorgeous palace. Be sure to go a bit early so you have time to explore before dinner.

It was an extraordinary experience for myself and family. If you want to soak up some historical high society living I highly recommend this.
If you are short of time, this is a wonderful event where you combine museum visit, good food and fine music.

A very nice evening out. The food and service were very good and the concert was excellent, very good musicians who played their period parts extremely well.
Review by: SHEILA S, August 2017
The meal was excellent and the show was brilliant and I would recommend the Vip tour as you get front row seats for the show with having the meal as well. The only thing I would not bother with is the tour around the palace as my opinion it is not very impressive.

A great night! You were invited to take a tour of the castle before the night began. _br/_ It began with dinner. _br/_ The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful. They were wearing beautiful costumes. Berlin was having a warm summer day and I did find the room too hot to be able to eat much or drink much. The meal was reasonable._br/_ The concert however was just magical. The violinists were wonderful, the flutist, amazing, just the orchestra in general were excellent. The two opera singers were absolutely amazing. The acoustics in the concert room were perfect. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

Wow! What a step back in time. The Palace is restored beautifully. This was my favorite Palace of my European tour. Be sure to save time to enjoy the gardens. Dinner was good, especially the chicken and dessert. The Mozart concert was very entertaining and well done.

The Palace Tour was good but Charlottenburg Palace is nowhere near as spectacular as Versailles. We really enjoyed the dinner, it felt special to be sitting in the pretty l'orangerie being served delicious meals by the friendly staff. The standout though was the concert which we absolutely loved. The musicians are superb, I have never enjoyed classical music so much. They played Bach and Vivaldi with such verve and gusto that we were entranced the whole evening.

Really excellent evening with a delicious and well attended supper to start with, followed by a very enjoyable concert. We regrettably missed the tour of the palace as we imagined it would be available in the evening, but the palace closes early - so participants need to make two visits to the venue - difficult when time is limited in a short stay. We shall know better next time!

Food was fantastic, staff were attentive and the restaurant was hospitable. The performance was unbelievable, and the period costumes enhanced the experience. Ground/building complimented the evening.

The ticket office was closed when we arrived as the attendant had taken her dog out for a walk - but left no sign to explain. From then on we were pleased with the evening. The palace tour was quite nice, the dinner was tasty and the concert enjoyable. The VIP seats were worth the extra cost.

The dinner and concert was very well organised. Felt like we were stepping back in time with the host and musicians in period costume in an elaborately decorated room of the Charlottenburg Palace. If you are wanting to enjoy some nice food and culture it is a very pleasant way to spend an evening if visiting Berlin. Would recommend!

El servicio es excelente. La comida muy buena. Algo muy diferente a lo que hacemos diariamente. Si quieres experimentar las diferencias de las epocas y sus costumbres pues es algo muy intetesante para hacer.

The palace is definitely worth a visit. The dinner was delicious. They had to move it from the palace to an Italian restaurant across the street because of ongoing remodeling. But good was good, as was the service. The entertainment was fantastic. Great female opera singer. Intimate concert.

This was one of the highlights of our trip! The palace was lovely, still being renovated, but very well done. The dinner in the Orangerie was wonderful, with wine and cocktails available for purchase. The concert was excellent. Our Majordomo was very entertaining and made the evening so much fun. Everyone was dressed nicely, but not formally no neckties, so we fit right in in our dressy casual clothes. Expensive, but worth it! Highly recommend!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at the palace. It was an excellent evening: romantic, elegant, fine food menu is set, no options, and classical music. The staff members are friendly and very accommodating.
