Having never been on a Segway in our lives, this really was a fun, fabulous tour of Berlin. You have a 20-30 min lesson on how to safely navigate yourself on the Segway and our group had 2 other couples so a nice little number to tour round with. _br/_ Ronan was our informative guide and although we had seen a few of the sights on the tour by foot, this tour provided an different insight, gaining chunks of info we wouldn't have known otherwise. _br/_ Be mindful that a lot of the tour is along cycle paths but there are times when you negotiate the road/traffic lights and don't plough down the pedestrians either!_br/_ We were fortunate to have a lovely bright sunny day, although it was bitterly cold, so do wrap up well - gloves, hat and scarf/snood are a must at this time of year. _br/_ This is a fab way to see the city. Much better craic than going by foot!

Awesome way to see Berlin! We were amazed at all of the things were bale to see during this 3 hour tour. Segways were easy to learn - we had never been on one before. Our guide was Tobi - and we highly recommend him. His English is very good and growing up in East Berlin, he has some really good insight into many of the things we were seeing. Definitely recommend as a way to see a lot of the former East Berlin and decide which sites you want to go back to and see more in depth.

Love the Segway Tour. We had taken a Segway tour in Chicago previously and knew the thrill of zooming around effortlessly and our Irish guide did not disappoint. The Berlin Segway takes you around all the important sights and a few that are not well known which was a treat. Don't be intimidated by the machine as the 1/2 hour instruction and practice gives you the skills to navigate the traffic. You're going to want a Segway of your own:- Everyone has dreams of flying and the Sedway gives you that feeling.

We really enjoyed this tour, the fat tire folks were great. The shop is just steps away from the Alexander Platz S Bahn stop, which isjust three stops from the main station. The group size was good 8 and the guide kiren was knowledgeable. He was able to answer most questions and provided directions and advice for those of us that wanted to return to spots we had visited. A great overview tour of Berlin.

Be advised that you are traveling on public streets and at a few intersections there are no clear cut traffic signs so you do need to keep highly aware of potential traffic conflicts...

We arrived in Berlin and within 2 hours we were zipping around the city on our Segways. This tour was a GREAT introduction to the Berlin. I was the only one in our group who never been on a Segway before, but the 1/2 hour training session before going out on the streets was excellent. Our guide Walik made sure we were all comfortable before starting out and made sure we were all safe throughout the trip. We not only saw a lot of sites but learned a lot about the history of the city. Walik knows his history and makes it both fun and informative. We only had a short time in Berlin and doing this tour right upon arrival helped us prioritize what we wanted to see and do in our following twos days. Note: Have your drivers license with you. One couple was not able to join the tour because they mentioned they did not have theirs on them. The company had to move them to an e-bike tour.

Amazing experience. My Segway tour mas subcontracted to Fat Bike tours that operate at the base of the Berlin TV tower. We were split into two groups of 7-8. The guides were Walid and Toby, both fantastic. I was a bit apprehensive for the first 10 mins I guess Toby was even more nervous watching my flustering!. However, the patience and guidance provide was all that was needed. We are all age group 22- 60 soon able to zip around busy trips. Toby, who accompanied my group was took us around important landmarks and spent a lot of time going over the historical facts. He was one of the friendliest guides that I have met and with a great sense of humour. Highly recommend riding a Segway and also this particular providers Fat Bikes.

Amazing tour so much fun! Jürgen our tour guide was great, so knowledgeable. The Segways felt so strange when you first got on them but we soon got used to them and it was a great way to see so much of the city. One of our group was too scared for the Segway but she was able to swap to a bike no problem. It was absolutely freezing doing this tour in December. Wrapping up warm and decent gloves are a must! Would do this tour again in a heart beat can not recommend it enough!

Fantastic tour! We had the blonde male tour guide from Ireland with the difficult name , and he was fun to be with and very informative. It takes a bit to get used to the Segway but the training is done properly, no short-cuts, so we felt very comfortable driving them. Much better than walking around because with the Segway you can do good distances. If you have not tried a Segway yet, Berlin is a great city to do so. Highly recommended - great team

Waleem was a fabulous tour guide - funny and knowledgeable. It was a great 3 hours and we were sad to see it end. He looked after the entire group of varying abilities and kept it fun throughout, whilst paying the respect certain aspects required. This sis t an in depth, heartstrings-pulling account of the rise and fall of the wall, but a whistle stop tour of all the big sights with more than enough information to give you a great understanding of what went on and why. Tobi was an excellent guide!! He explained everything very well. I highly highly recommend this tour. His English was very good, he spent time answering whatever questions we had and told the Berlin History in a funny and understandable way. If I had to criticize something: I wish we'd have less stops and more Segway driving.
