This Polynesian stargazing tour starts with a sunset cruise by boat and some bubbly. The tour is available in a small group setting out with no more than twelve people. Learn the fascinating history of how the ancient Polynesian used the stars to navigate all across the Pacific Ocean to find their way.
Relax and unwind for an evening of stargazing and storytelling while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine as the sun goes down over beautiful Bora Bora. Colors of red, orange and yellow takes over what was the pristine blue skies of the day; and the majestic emerald mountain of Bora Bora becomes just a silhouette in the background.
You'll travel by boat to a private Motu (Islet), where the show will soon start. Speckles in the dusk’ sky soon become flickering stars that brighten as the minutes pass, and before you know it the sky is filled with twinkling stars waiting for their story to be told.
The Tahitian night sky will be unraveled before you, as your star-guide tells old stories and legends of the Tahitian people. They'll explain how they used story telling to decode the night’s sky to help them with their travels throughout the great Pacific Ocean (Moana Nui). With the knowledge of this ancient wisdom, they were able to explore the entire pacific, long before the “modern” western sailors started navigating.
Before long this adventure will have to come to an end and you'll be taken back across Bora Bora’s romantic lagoon by boat, returning to your hotel just in time for dinner (not included).
Our guide is very friendly and professional. He's also well acknowledged about Tahiti history and gave us many interest facts about the islands. We had a very good time with him. It's worthy.

A bit of bubbly, a few small snacks, amazing live music and great history of the Polynesian culture equals a fantastic voyage! Our guides were fun and kept our interests up for 3 hours. It was a bit cloudy that evening so the iPad star gazer app was a great way for us to see the stars that were used for the Polynesian people to navigate.

You get a little bit of everything: boat, sunset, star gazing, live music, snacks, drinks, and a bit of history with a great story teller. If you aren't familiar with constellations, they have tablets to help guide your way through the night sky.

I just came back from trip to Botra Bora._br/_ I went with my daughter. We booked the stargazer excursion._br/_ It was excellent. Our trip guides were outstanding, especially Jingo!_br/_ You will learn a lot about the history of navigation by the stars, and if your lucky and it's a clear night, be enchanted with the stars.and constellations. _br/_ The boat ride with champagne was fun._br/_ Dress with shoes for walking up some very big steps, on the motu island where you will go to see the stars.

This trip was AWESOME. One our favorites our whole time in French Polynesia. We were picked up and started to drive towards sunset while our guide, George, gave us information about the islands and history. Then we were able to take pictures and George was a great photographer and took photos of all the couples there were only three of us so it was a very intimate trip. After that - off to a very small little island where we heard more history and waited for the stars. We were all given iPads with Sky Map to see what constellations were up. There was also refills on champagne and snacks on the boat! Such a special trip!

This tour was amazing! George is your guide and he is very nice, knowledgeable and funny. We were surprised to find out we were the only ones on the tour which was perfect. Worth every penny in my opinion. You get free drinks alcoholic or non which ever you prefer, sushi, and amazing views!

This was easily the best excursion we went on during our time in Bora Bora. First, we were taken out to the middle of the lagoon to sip some champagne and enjoy the beautiful sunset while our guide, George, shared interesting information about Bora Bora with us before serenading us with a Ukelele and traditional Polynesian songs! The sunset was absolutely stunning, and George took some fantastic photos of us with our camera. Also, it was a nice surprise that we were the only people on the boat, as we did not expect a private tour.

it was awesome! we ended up being the only ones on the trip but we are sure it would be great with a group as well. george and christian took fantastic care of us! it ended up being much more than we had expected! we thought it would just be stargazing but somehow we also got a sunset cruise and had bubbles AND a platter of delicious snacks to enjoy - as well as george serenading us and taking the best pictures of us and the sunset. THEN we made it to the top of a hill a private motu once the sun went down and he explained the stars and navigation. it blew our minds! highly recommend. it gave us an opportunity to better understand the history of the area and was just spectacular!
