You won't find a better tour of St Emilion. Great guide, entertaining and very clued-up. And .. very importantly, a good driver, too. Never a moment's anxiety on the road. Thnaks again

Our tour guide, Julia, was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine industry in Bordeaux-- she gave us a great intro in a comfortable ride to St. Emilion, and then a very nice and relaxing stroll around St. Emilion itself. We visited Vignobles Carles, where a very bright woman named Berengere shared what it is like to make some of the best wine in the world! She was fantastic! The perfect way to spend a half day trip to wine country!

We went to Chateau La Croizille for our wine tour and tasting. The host had a nice tour of their facilities and did a good job talking us through it. The wine was good too. Our driver/guide for the day was very good. Very knowledgeable about the area, not overdone though. She led us around the town of St. Emilion but you can also tour it on your own if you'd like.

Great tour and our guide Ugo was very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to tailor aspects of the tour to suit the objectives of our small group. At the winery Chateau de Ferrand, Charlie was our guide and we found it very informative and there was an opportunity to taste and buy wine but no pressure or heavy selling. At St Emilion we saw some fabulous sights before being taken to a private tasting with the very knowledgeable and passionate Jeremy and learned a lot about this regions wines and then had free time to wander at our leisure. We found the small group tour much better than a large group where it only takes one or two people to disregard others and throw the schedule out and subsequently cut short some of the highlights. This tour ran perfectly from start to finish and would recommend to anyone

This was an excellent tour and our guide and driver Hugo was exceptional in his knowledge, especially of wine. The trip to winery was very informative as was the visit to the wine shop in St Emilion. Love the heritage township of St Emilion - so quaint.

We only wanted to spend half a day wine tasting so this was perfect for us. Plenty of time in St Emillion. Informative host, Amy. All ran to time would highly recommend.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Ugo, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about wine and the wine making process. The wine tasting at the chateau was excellent. St. Emilion is a beautiful medieval town and very worth the trip.

What a wonderful time. Our guide Karim was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about wines, the wineries and vineyards. He took us around the backroads of St. Emilion to see every aspect of wine grape cultivation, even talking with workers and harvesters. One could not have gotten any closer to the ground-to grape-to-wine process than this. The tour of the wineries, both small and large, was informative. The wine and cheese parings at one winery sorry, can't remember the name was memorable. Karim's professional, enthusiastic, congenial nature and pleasant dialogue was refreshing. Definitely a well-worth experience! Thank you Karim and Viator.

Good overview, our guide was knowledgeable and it was fun being in this company. This half day trip was overly rushed due to excessive traffic and the guide obviously had to make up time.

This tour was okay. The bus you take out of Bordeaux was comfortable. You go to St Emilion and take a look at the city. The first tasting is at a shop, not a winery. The second winery looks nice, they tell you more about their production, with two wines tasted.

Really enjoyable tour with our guide Luigi being very knowledgeable and friendly. This allowed us to take in the various elements of the tour at a nice leisurely pace, taking in the sights and learning about the process of wine making.

Our guide, Luigi, really made the trip fun and interesting. He knows a lot about wine and was a wonderful guide. Small group of 8 people in a mini van made for a real personal experience.

Our guide Luigi was friendly and spoke good English and French. He also was genuinely interested in wine and knowledgeable on the subject. That coupled with the small size of the group 6 people and the beautiful destination of Saint-Emilion made it a great tour.

Great half day trip - tour of St. Emilion which we wish would have been a full day but unfortunately we didn't have the time so this was a quick tease of a great trip we will definitely do again in the future. Our tour guide was great and very informative and we really enjoyed spending half a day with her on this tour. Thanks.

The tour was good BUT we were panicked before it began. We paid 150 and were told the tour would start_br/_ from near Place Quinconnes, but they didn't say exactly where - it's a huge area._br/_ We phoned the Company and left a message but they never called back._br/_ We emailed the information number, and got an immediate reply that they would answer_br/_ our question BUT THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO US._br/_ We assumed it was near the Tourist Office and went there and asked and they_br/_ said it would start near there the next morning, actually before they opened._br/_ Moral to Company: Do NOT take our money and then fail to respond to your Customers.

Sarah, the tour guide, was very good and a good driver. She provided good information along the way and in the town. We'd been there before but saw the town from a different perspective than we had seen before. We had 2 wine tastings which was one too many for us. The tasting in the wine store was the best. We would have preferred to have seen more of the town.

Our tour guide was Karim and we could not have asked for a better guide. He was quick witted and humerous and so he added to the fun of the day. And let's face it, wine tasting for Australians has got to be a fun day! We had a casual trip to the village of St Emillion that included discussion on the history of the area going back to the time of the Crusaders and the life of the hermit Emillion. The English occupation of the area was an interesting period of time and Karim covered this with sensitivity and humour. His knowledge of the vine growth and operations, the wine making process and the chemistry of the production of fine wines was exquisite and giving us information on the appellations clarified many questions we had on wine from France. It was a lovely, relaxing, entertaining morning.

Karim was our fantastic tour guide for this amazing and educational winery tour and tasting. He was knowledgeable of the history of St. Emilion and the science of wine making. There was never a dull moment....we had lots of laughs too! There were only four of us on this tour which allowed us to see and cover lots of ground. We explored the amazing Chateau Franc Mayne Vineyard, VATs and underground storage areas. We toured the quaint/ small town of St. Emilion and enjoyed another tasting with a local wine merchant. We enjoyed our drive to and from our venue. Karim gave us a great education and his passion was quite visible and contagious. Loved the sniff testing on our trip back too!. Karim, Thank you for a fabulous tour that should not be missed! We will look you up for our next trip to bordeaux!

loved the trip out to St Emilion, beautiful village and great wine tasting with the opportunity to taste up to a premier grand Cru. Local winery also good with wine accompanied by local cheeses. The guide did tend to make up facts which did detract from the overall experience.

Karim was our guide for this half day tour and it was great! While it may seem expensive for a short trip it is most definitely worth it and a visit to the Aquitaine/Bordeaux region simply isn't complete without a visit to wine country. We are relatively novice to the world of wine appreciation but at no point were made to feel inadequate. We enjoyed the bus tour of the region, learning much about the process and history of wine making. St Emilion is simply beautiful and the wine tasting with Bruno was great fun - be prepared to part with your cash however - too hard to resist._br/_ Thanks so much Karim.

The tour was interesting. The guide was knowledgeable. St Emilion is a charming town. The wine tasting was good. Would have preferred a bigger winery with more varieties and another winery instead of a wine store in town.

Our driver Laurent picked us up on time and drove us to St Emilion, giving us an interesting commentary on the features of Bordeaux and the wine industry as we drove. As it was rainy, he drove rather than walked us around the village, but made sure we saw the main features. We enjoyed an informative wine tasting and then visited a chateau to see the wine-making process for ourselves and enjoy another tasting. The tastings covered a range of budgets, with the first showcasing some high quality grand cru wines, and the second some delicious but more affordable offerings. No pressure was exerted to buy wines and the trip was enjoyable even if not an experienced wine drinker.

The guide is fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly: May be we were the only two passengers in this tour Best tour from Viator I ever had. He introduced me a wine merchant from whom I had imported a case of the wine Pomeroywhere I had a bottle from Gordon Ramsey's Restaurant in Bordeaux. Believe me whenever you're in Bordeaux don't just visit the right bank, go to the left bank of the Medoc region as well.

This trip was the perfect combination of visiting a winery and seeing a charming medieval village. My daughter, sister and I are not big wine enthusiasts and did not want to dedicate a whole day doing wine tasting. This was just what we hoped it would be. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we never felt rushed when we were walking around. I highly recommend this tour. Sandy from Cleveland
