The guide was very knowledgeable._br/_ The Island was OK. Nothing to write about. One time visit is enough.

This is an all day event leaving the city of Boston and taking a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. This was the only day of our week's vacation that it rained but it did not spoil the trip. We were told by our guide that this was the time of year (April) where we could drive around the island and not be encumbered with traffic like the summer months. Had always heard about Martha's Vineyard so did not know what to expect. I am glad I went even though you are not able see any of the famous homes you hear about. We stopped in a small town and went our separate ways for lunch and then returned to the bus in an hour to resume our trip. The tour guide is a native of Martha's Vineyard so we were able to hear the true story of the island. Once you have visited the island, in my opinion, you would not have to return for a second visit unless you were invited by a famous person. I would recommend this trip to anyone because it is a definite tourist attraction.

There is no way to visit all of Martha’s Vineyard in one day unless you take this tour. The driver Anthony was humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the different locations around the island.

We did not set foot on Martha's Vineyard until 10:30. The time for the tour stops was abbreviated. We were picked up early from our departure dock because our boat was docked at a different dock. The Martha Vineyard's driver did not say,

Overall the trips was great. A smaller bus, more comfortable, on the island would have made it perfect. Guide was great. Glad we went.

If you're at a major hotel downtown Boston, the pickup/dropoff is very nice. Our driver was super courteous and very clear about what we were doing. Pay for the extra tour on the island unless you have a way of getting around on your own. Our tour driver on the island was great, and the ferry ride out and back was nice and cool which was much needed on a warm summer day.

New England Tours is a top notch and well oiled operation. We were picked up from our hotel exactly as promised and what an experience with a wonderful guide Kevin who was very informative and thoughtful through our drive to Falmouth to board the Island Queen to Martha’s Vineyard. Alexander was great driving us through the island and and pointing out to all details. This one day outing is great and highly recommended and very reasonable in price. I’m glad my family and I did it.

My family and I had a great time on the day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Steve, the owner, was very helpful with our booking since we scheduled it at the last minute. Our driver, Jeff, was awesome. Made sure we arrived early and was very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

Absolutely beautiful. Definitely going back to stay as day trip wasn't long enough. All the Jaws locations were fab especially the Jaws Bridge. Highlight was getting to meet one of the cast from the first film, awesome. Tour company was excellent. Definitely recommend booking if your visiting Boston.

This was a a great way to see Martha's Vineyard without having to make complicated transportation plans to and from the city. Everything was planned out for us. It is a long day, with an early pickup around 6am and about 1.5 hours of driving each way, as well as a 45 minute ferry trip to and from the island. But it was totally worth it! Steve was a great host and gave us some Boston history as we drove out of the city. Light snacks and water was also provided on the trip to the ferry. The 3 hour island tour by bus was a fun way to see the whole island--there are two brief stops during the tour, one in Edgarton, and one at the Gayhead Lighthouses. Then we had a few hours in Oak Bluffs to explore the gingerbread cottages, the beach, and have lunch on our own before heading back to the ferry. We really enjoyed the whole day!

I am a History Nerd, so this was an AWESOME Trip to Martha's Vineyard. I went during the off-season in October. There were very few tourists, many shops and restaurants were closed for the season. I do not enjoy being in larger crowds of people. So, this was perfect for me. I was able to visit museums, ride the bus, and dine without having to wait in lines. The off-season also provided me with opportunities to speak with a variety of locals many of whom leave during the height of the tourist season. Everyone was friendly and I learned some interesting facts about the Martha's Vineyard communities. Since I have had an educational and relaxing trip,I plan to visit during the summer!

Great tour with just a bit too much emphasis on tipping.

I found Martha's Vineyard to be a bit underwhelming overall. Maybe it was because of the storm coming through on the day we went. It was cloudy, cold, and rainy.

We had a good time, but the bus we were on prevented us from going to a few of the famous points of interest.

This tour company is good, but not great. Once you take the ferry to Martha's vineyard, you board a school bus that takes you around the island. The tour is very rushed, but the driver does give a lot information about the island. We had about 10 minutes at the lighthouse to take photos and get back on the bus.

This trip is good. Its a long day with a very early start, but a great way to see Marthas Vineyard. I would recommend to not take the tour offered while on the island, it takes up a lot of your time. Better to spend your time exploring the towns at your own pace. Local buses are very accessible and inexpensive. Check timetables for return trips - usually about every 20/30 minutes - this will save you time just sitting waiting at a bus stop. We had a very memorable lunch of lobster and corn by the waters edge for medium price. Very pretty towns. Nic little shops. A good trip.
