Our first van driver to Roma Station was a little late and very unpleasant. Aside from that, it was a great trip and we enjoyed our desert safari tour as well as the dolphin feeding. Very organized and timely. We did not have much time to do other activities as we had a set schedule so we just relaxed on the beach. Moreton Island is beautiful and worth a visit!

Its was fun at moreton island!! Beautiful beach, sunset and activities!! Awesome !!. But if tour agent could provide more information such as beach towel can be rent in the resort and feeding dolphin might get wet, in order to let us know what's we need to prepare before depart.

There was quite a lot of hanging about to get to the resort. Catamaran very busy and noisy. Beautiful island with stunning beach. The resort not really 'my thing' so a very poor choice on my part. It was a very very hot day and I would have liked more shaded peaceful outdoor space to avoid having to cool off inside! The best bit for me was the journey back to the mainland on a much smaller boat with outdoor seating.

Amazing experience. Very well organised tour. Guide very knowledgeable and very friendly. Would recommend Viator to anyone going to Brisbane . Infact all my booking to France, London, Hong Kong, Japan just to name this few with Viator was always up to my expectation. Thank you Viator!

The driver was over 30 minutes late in picking me up from my hotel. The one thing not mentioned in the tour description is that you only get 4 hours on the island and you spend 6 hours in transit! I was shocked! The bus ride from Brisbane was over a half hour. Then we waiting nearly 15 minutes to board the boat. Then, the boat ride was 75 minutes!! Just to turn around and do it all again a few hours later. I thought I'd have a long day to enjoy the island and instead it felt rushed.

What a beautiful Island where you can relax to the sound of the ocean, or pack in an activity filled day of snorkeling, sand boarding and all the water sports you can get. The dolphins are magical and I had the pleasure of a wild dolphin coming a meter from me whilst I was swimming in the afternoon!_br/_ My only reservation was that the dolphin feeding was too busy. The resort itself needs to limit numbers of people feeding in one evening so you get a true experience.

If you have a day to spare, the additional activities is well worth the trip. Sand Tobogganing, quad biking and dolphin feeding was suburb.

Even on a very wet day when there were no beach activities happening this was a great tour.. They did all they could to show us different things on the island when what was planned could not happen because of the weather. It was a joy to go into the sea with the dolphins.

A pleaseant day out. Unfortunately the weather was overcast and rainy. However, we had a little time lazing on the beach. Just went out for the day trip , not interested in the sporty side.

wonderful tour, i just felt pressed for time as i couldn't really fit in any excess tours etc. the tobogganing is something everyone should try sometime in live. the dolphin feeding really only involves feeding your dolphin 1 fish. still a fantastic experience in my opinion. my dolphin was a bit naughty (just like me ;-)) i would recommend this to everyone :)

Fantastic opportunity and a once in a lifetime chance to feed dolphins. Went on the whale watching cruise and saw many humpback whales but the highlight was feeding Echo the dolphin. Will definitely stay overnight at Tangalooma on my next visit.

Very nice trip and organization. The desert safari and sand surfing was great ! A bit long to wait until dolphin feeding, and cold but nice experience too. Just would have liked to have time to change clothes before going back to the boat and bus.

I had a lot of fun at Tangalooma Resort and wished we could have spent a few nights there. There was so much we could do in between the sand tobaganning and dolphin feeding we added in snorkeling the ship wrecks. Be aware, the sand toboganning was fun and I'm glad I did it, but was VERY SCARY at the time! You also won't need a facial or skin exfoliation treatment before going, you'll get one as part of the adventure so wear appropriate clothing for the ride down! Sand gets EVERYWHERE!

PARADISE. The highlight was the dolphin feed, also lovedsand tobogganing but very tiring climbing up the sand dune and you end up with sand everywhere including your ears, nose and mouth! The Segway along the beach good fun also !

Review by:   Mette Bjerring P,    December 2013 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
The Island it self is amazing and everything is fantastic (Worth the money to go there for a day or more), but be aware of that if you book this trip you will only have 3 hours on the island if you are not feeding the dolphins, which means that you only have time to do one or two water-activity and not seeing the whole island. The sail trip out to the Island takes 1½ hour.. But it was an amazing island and a it is paradise!

Moreton Island is a great place to simply unwind and relax. The bus picked us up on time and the boat ride across was good. When our day had finished our bus driver dropped us back to the hotel. Very reliable and our bus driver was terrific.

I pet a dolphin! Well... kinda, it bumped into me so I touched it. You can't ACTUALLY touch them. But whatever, being in the water with these water critters was awesome. The Island was beautiful! Not too many people either, very leisurely. Went snorkeling, that was wicked cool too.

Tangalooma resort is a very beautifull place, with so many activities options or only to relax on the beach. What I didn't like so much is that take so much time to make the procedures for check in (first on visitor centre, wait for bus, go to warth, check-in on cruiser 1 hour before departure...).

Review by:   Sui Yu Y,    April 2012 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
actually only transfer and entry to the island is provided, your only time in the island

It was nice day trip however you have to book ur accommodation if you would like to do the dolphin feeding! Also food and drink is really expensive there so you need to bring your own food!!

One of the worst trips of my life. The driver who picked us up and drove us back was a maniac and we thought we were surely going to die. The ride across to the island was chopping and uncomfortable (not your fault) but made the whole trip worse.

Dolphin feeding experience was 5-star! The included buffett lunch; was not very good at all. (makes Tangalooma look very cheap) The use of the VIP Lounge was very helpful. Overall, definitely recommended.

A wonderful day, the sand toboganning trip a fun outing though I declined the ride down the sand dunes. The dolphin feeding was incredibly moving and a never to be missed experience. I would go back tomorrow!

Review by:   Swee-Cheng C,    November 2010 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
The dolphins were amazing - definitely turned on the highlights - only wish it was for longer. There rest of the package was disappointing i.e.the buffet lunch and the sand tabogganing. The lunch buffet was very poor quality - nothing tasty, steak was overcooked, even the fried rice was tasteless. This is a island resort - you would expect some seafood - nope - this is downright normal takeaway corner shop food in unlimited quantity & tasteless. As for the sand tabogganning - don't expect proper tabagonning board which you can sit on, this is some makeshift board which is not easy to pull up with your arms and still keep your knees up all the way down the slope and if you don't, you will experience turbulent sandstorm all around you. You basically need very strong arms and legs and - bring your goggles!!

Not a bad day out but the resort really isn't all that special. The beach is gorgeous but choices for food are very limited. I didn't stick around for the dolphin feeding so I can't comment on that.

Beautiful island, getting there on the ferry is part of the fun. Loads to do at the resort including the exciting sand tobogganing. Unfortunately when we were there it was too rough to go into the sea and feed the dolphins. They still arrived but we had to feed them from the jetty. Return ferry delayed due to bad weather and a very rough crossing back. This was apparently very unusual and only this stopped a highly recommended rating!

Funtastic, the island is well developed for fun and relaxation, should have stayed overnight. The boat is well maintained and the captain is quite helpful with infos for first time travellers to this island. F&B service is fine.
