Budapest Segway Sightseeing Tour

Before the tour starts, you'll have an orientation session. You will have time practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Budapest. It's new, it's fun and it's unique!
The tour starts with a 20-30 minute orientation session in front of our office on the big open square (not included in quoted tour time). You will have time to practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Budapest.Fun Segway (13:00): 1 hour + training. The tour is lead by a professional Segway Instructor, but it does not include guiding, so we recommend it especially to those ,who want to experience this fun and entertaining way of getting around the city, who are not so interested in historical info and just want to have fun, who want to try the Segway but have limited time for it.
We will start our ride at the Opera House, continuing our trip along the Andrássy Avenue until we reach the Heroes’ Square and the City Park.
Budapest Grand Segway Tour (9:30 and 15:00): 2 hours + trainingWe’ll give you a fantastic orientation of inner Pest and fabulous views of the stunning Buda Castle District. You will glide from our office in the city center to sites including St. Stephen's Basilica, the Hungarian State Opera House and the tree-lined Grand Boulevard of Andrassy. Also on the Budapest Segway Grand tour you will see Deak Square, Elizabeth Square, Great Synagogue, Vorosmarty Square and the Vaci Walking District, the Vigado and Danube Promenades, the Chain Bridge, Széchenyi Square, Parliament area, Liberty Square and much more!
Budapest Superior Segway Tour option (+1 hour)Operates from 16 March to 15 November, at 9:30 only. For additional +15 EUR you can extend your Grand Segway tour with an extra +1 hour ride to the Heroes’ Square, House of Terror, City Park and Upper Andrassy Blvd.
Budapest Evening Segway Tour (18:00): 2 hours + taining Operates from 1 April to 31 October. On the evening Segway tour we ride to St Stephens Basilica, Liberty Square, Parliament and we take you to Margaret Island. While crossing Margaret Bridge you can enjoy the panorama of the Parliament and the Buda Castle District and Gellert Hill. On the way back we glide through the city’s main inner town sights and will be seen at dusk and some will even be illuminated, giving great photo opportunities during the tour.
We reserve the right to alter and change tour program without prior notice due to construction, city closures for events, festivals and so on throughout the year.
Please note the city also closes down certain areas to the Segway and also for events, fairs and festivals which can make the tour use alternative routes.
Our Segway tours are small and generally do not have more than 10 participants, making them interactive and personal and giving you plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know your guide.
Awesome and knowledgeable guide, even though I was the only person on the tour they still conducted the tour and the guide took me to many more places then what was mentioned... This is the best way to go around Budapest within a short time.

Even with the questionable slushy snowy weather we had a blast. Bring gloves if you can, or buy them for a couple dollars at the meeting point if you forget them me. We had a great time learning to Segway, and the sites of Budapest were amazing. We even managed to show up at Parliament just in time to watch the changing of the guards! Our guide was Esther and she was quite knowledgeable. Ill always remember the year 1896 now!

This was one of the best Segway tours we've done. We've done them in Norway, Mexico, Chicago and Coronado Island San Diego Christiana was a fantastic guide. We definitely recommend the 3 hour tour. After the 2 hour tour was finished, we were the only 2 left for the third hour. Christiana asked where we had been and she took us to see places we hadn't seen previously. After doing our first Segway tour in Norway, we look for them wherever we travel.

Highly recommended! The sights we visited were beautiful and the same ones described in the tour package. It was extremely cold but our tour guide Tamas was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and high spirited and was very thorough with the segway training. He remained patient throughout the tour.

A very interesting and educational tour as a result of George who was very knowledgable,patient and careful. He made sure everyone was safe on the tour. He is clearly very proud of the city and his country and made the morning very enjoyable and worthwhile, It enabled us to get a feel for the city and our bearings. This is our fourth Segway tour and it rates along side our very first one in Rome. Ensure you Trip is through Yellow Zebra as there are lots of other operators out there selling on the street and no uniform to identify which tour operator they represent watch out for the cowboy operators. Thanks George for making this a memorable experience.

Nothing was necessarily bad about the experience, but it is hard for me to rate it higher as our guide was difficult to understand. Also, while I got the hang of riding the Segway fairly quickly, I'll admit it was a bit hard to use and a bit daunting in that we rode right in the midst of pedestrians which seemed less than safe for all of us. Nonetheless, The training session was good and the people were very professional.

We really enjoyed our Budapest segway tour with our guide, George. We first learned how to ride a segway, which didn't take too much time, and then off we went. My two teenagers loved being able to ride them through town, as opposed to me making them walk miles and miles like I did the rest of our stay. The ability to cover a lot of ground was great, but even better was that George could also tell us about history and the sights we saw. One of my friends recommended taking this tour, and we'd certainly recommend it as well.

Really enjoyed the tour, our guide was very informative and we were able to see so many places which we would not have been able to to do in the time if we had been walking. We had a late afternoon/early evening tour which meant most office workers had left the city and so the streets were less busy and it was easier to 'glide' around the sights.

We booked a 2 hour Segway tour. Our guide was George and he was amazing, he was so good showing us what to do and how to get up pavements and practise all this before setting off. He explained the history of the places we stopped at and it showed how proud he was of the history of Budapest. We arrived Tuesday at lunchtime and had booked our tour for 6.30pm, we had been to Budapest before but our Daughter and Partner had not so after the tour she said it was the best idea to do the tour at the beginning of our trip as it was a good start to finding our way around and learning the history. Visited the Opera House, St Stephens Basilica , Parliament then over the chain bridge to Margaret Island which was amazing, very busy because of the swimming but a wonderful place to visit and being on the Segway we soon got through all the crowds, we returned to the Island the next day to the Palatinus Baths a must if you have hot weather. Would definitely recommend this a 1st on your list. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, so thanks George and all.

For two people who had never ridden a segway before Daniel was an expert trainer and within a very short time we were confident and on our way. Daniel was an excellent tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and spoke passionately about his country. We throughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.

First point is be aware that there are multiple independent Segway sites in Budapest so be sure to confirm which one you are booked with it is Yellow Zebra.

What a fantastic way to see the main sights of Budapest. Having never been on a segway before we were a bit anxious about the experience. We needn't have been concerned as the guide gives you full training prior to setting off on the tour. You have to do this. This was the most fun ever. After a shaky start on the Segway I soon got the hang of it. We had an excellent teacher and guide in a guy called Balint. He took us all over the city and had lots of interesting historical information to impart. It's a bit breezy so wear a long-sleeved top or something appropriate unless it's baking hot. It's a really good way to get your bearings around the city and you can cover far more distance than you can on foo. Do this. Don't even think about it. I can't wait until I can get on a Segway again!!!

We were not able to find the location. No matter how many people we asked and what ever directions we got from the locals including Budapest Sightseeing, we could not find where we were supposed to go. Disappointed that we missed it!

I did the evening Segway tour and the whole experience was amazing. The guide is excellent and it was nice to see the sights with fewer tourists around and also go to an island in the middle of the Danube river.

My husband and I are over 70 and we were very apprehensive about doing this. But, Christy was a fabulous guide and did a great training with us. She was a fantastic tour guide as well...very knowledgeable and a l to of fun too. Highly recommend this tour over the bus or walking. later we went back to several of the sights. A must do in Budapest.

One of our favorite things we did during our visit! The tour guide was phenomenal answered all of our questions, gave us some great history and current perspective of the city, and provided excellent details and demonstrations to safely ride the Segway, yet still have a good time and go faster than the snail pace I've been on other tours. If/when I go back, I will go on this tour again.
