Note: full itinerary will be covered depending on timing and circumstances at time of tour
Paid and confirmed yet no tour operator showed up at the meeting point. Very disappointed and a complete ripoff. No one answers phone number. Stay away!

Carlos was an outstanding guide and with his knowledge and inside info the city monuments and sights came to life. It's a leisurely walk but covering quite a bit of ground. You don't have to be super fit to do it but need to be able to keep up. One of our highlights.

Very experienced guide who walked at a pace that was not too arduous and gave us lots of facts and information to make our experience of Buenos Aires even more than we could have hoped for.

We did this tour in combination with the afternoon walking tour and found it to be fabulous. Our guide was personable, knowledgable, and fun. By the end we had heard many interesting and little known facts about the neighborhoods we walked through. We would have liked to walk more neighborhoods with him had we had the time. Don't miss these walking tours, especially if you are a first time visitor to Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is a big, exciting and walkable city. Take a doudle-decker bus tour on your first day. After that you need a professional guide to explore some important parts of this friendly city. Our guide, Martin, was one of them.

Always nice to have a brief view of a new town, and street tours really are good that way. We had a great guide who knew about what he was showing us and the histories behind it - really enjoyable

The tour was interesting and the guide, Carlos, was amusing in a droll way about the history of the city. He seemed very well informed about the history of the architecture in Recoleta. On the downside I thought he spent too much time trying to sell other tours to us and he wasn't very responsive to questions.

Excellent very informative guide completely fluent in English. Knew the city and the history of it and Argentine well. Covered European links and architecture interestingly and walked us around many areas and buildings to illustrate this.

I absolutely loved this tour! It has a lot to do with our tour guide, Martin. Aside from the historical tidbits that he shares, we touched on the cultural differences between western customs and that of Argentina. This was my favorite tour (I took 4 tours in all).

I wasn't all that impressed with this tour mainly because it was me and some other people that the guide had the previous day. He catered to what they wanted to see with the tour which was everything I did on my own the day before. It was supposed to be something entirely different than what was delivered. Because they were going to La Boca and I had been there the day before, he cut me loose at the San Telmo market. This particular guide was speed walking, so I'd be prepared to walk at a brisk pace. Otherwise it was informative enough for me.

Tour guide knew his history. Walked through many interesting sites, however after two hours he told me that my tour was over and he carried on with the others. Never asked what the second part was all about or if he combined the day tour into one. He could have covered more.

Review by: David D, November 2011
Knowledgeable and entertaining guide takes small group around some interesting sites in central area. All good. Our only negative was we found the morning tour was a little limited (our fault because we booked a short time) but we added an after-noon extension and that made it all feel like a better tour.
Review by: Michael C, November 2011
There were only 2 of us on the tour and Martin had been up till 3am the previous night so not at his best. However we got a good feel for the city through his insight. Only some of the sights mentioned in the tour description were visited and no coffee stop! Overall worth doing though.

I call this "Tour with Attitude." This was a walking tour of some neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Guide was very knowledgeable--and opinionated about advantages and disadvantages of Argentinian life. In middle of tour, you will have a "coffee break" with guide. This gives you a chance to better understand Argentina culture and how they view work---"we work to live"---as compared to "we live to work." Argentinians are about enjoying life--not about working hard. The guide who spent lot of time in Canada is very well spoken---just don't take the side of England in the Falkans War!

FANTASTIC!!! The walking guide spoke PERFECT English and was really nice. It was just my wife and I on the tour so it felt like walking the city with a friend. We saw way more than I thought we would and he gave us the history of many local buildings and sites. The tour was one of the best walking tours we have been on and I would say it was the best way to really see the main sites.

Excellent escorted guided tour. Our guide was well informed, and we especially appreciated his explanations in perfect English. Great value and good exercise to walk the route that was easy for the average person. One in our party has respiratory deficiency, but there were frequent pauses that allowed him to catch up. Doing it on your own is false economy, since you would miss so much of the historic commentary a local guide provides. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour to a friend. Five Stars!
