Do not recommend this tour guide at all! Probably some other guides are better as there are many good reviews, but my experience was really bad. Here is my story:

Soledad was a wonderful guide. Perfect English, and excellent knowledge of the history of the city and of the architecture we viewed. We even went to a local place for delicious empanadas after the tour -- someplace I would never have found on my own. Thanks for a great experience!

The tour was great and great guide.

Interesting, although I would have liked more information about more graves. You probably could do this on your own. The tour guide was very nice though and I enjoyed our conversations.

I gave this three stars only because our tour guide was good but not the best. The Recoleta Cemetery itself is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend that anyone see this when traveling to Buenos Aires. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, but she went past some of the tombs we wanted to see and seemed a tad bored. She didn't point out some of the tombs that I read about later. Overall though, this is a MUST see!

We enjoyed this tour however it was shorter than expected and also almost solo concentrated on cemeter. We therefore felt we never got to see as much as we had hoped.

This was a very enjoyable tour. Carlos is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and full of ineresting cemetery stories. We had a great afternoon with him.

An excellent tour. The guide was very informative and discussed many residents of the Recoletta cemetary. We then proceeded to other areas around this place which was interesting.

Brilliant tour with very knowledgable guide. You need to be reasonably fit as he sets a brisk walking pace and expects you to keep up. I highly recommend this tour especially the informative walk around the cemetery .

Our guide was fun, informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour. Recoleta is a gem of history and architecture.
Review by: Olivia H, June 2015
I enjoyed the cemetery. But my guide showed up eating. And then she answered her phone multiple times throughout the tour. I also feel like there was probably more to see in the cemetery, but we were there less than an hour. Maybe go to the free tour the cemetery holds?

A really good small group with a guide that knew her information We found the tour very interesting Graves like small houses Lots of history here
Review by: Diane L, April 2015
For some reason we thought this was a walking tour of Recoleta, including the cemetary. We were wrong. maybe our fault. It was basically a walk around the cemetary. all done in one and a half hours. we seem to cover every avenue in the cematary. the reason we went was to see the Duarte plot. So I would reccomend just going round on your own and save the money, sorry

Big thumb up! The guide was very knowledgable and a great story teller. He made this tour very interesting and half day went by very quickly. We've learned a lot!_br/_
Thank you!
Review by: John H, February 2015
My guide was fine and very informative. But when I would ask questions, he told me that that issue was covered in the tour conducted the next day. He seemed to withhold information in the hopes that he could lure me to the next day's tour. Not what I expected. Otherwise, it went fine.

Very interesting that people Intumed there have made non financial contributions to Argentina.

This tour was great! "Small group' was really small: me and my husband. The tour guy Alex was the best guide we met in Rio: perfect English, deep knowledge in every aspect we asked about Rio or Brazil. Highly recommended.

I missed this tour because the "Buenos Aires Sightseeing Tour" ended about an hour and fifteen minutes later than your website description...which meant I was unable to connect with this tour. You might consider including a note on your website that the slipperiness of schedules in Buenos Aires makes it impossible to take both a morning and afternoon tour on the same day. I note that your system requires a star rating which is difficult for you to give since I did not actually take this tour. The one is based on logistics and your web site description.

Review by: Jelena V, March 2014
The tour was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to Carlos and the magnificent way he weaves the story my husband and I were completely captivated. All of a sudden the places around us began to have a meaning._br/_
There was something academic about the whole experience, it reminded me of a Cultural Geography lectures I had while studying. I am back in London now, but Carlos made me so curious I will be finding out more about people, events and buildings he mentioned in his tour.
Review by: Julie B, March 2014
Our guide was very good. The visit to Recoleta cemetery was the highlight of the tour and having a guide there made a big difference.
Review by: John P, March 2014
Excellent guide.
Review by: john g, February 2014
Not the best experience I have ever had. A little too much time in the cemetery for my liking. Perhaps two hours is not quite enough, perhaps that is why the guide was trying to sell us the morning tour which on all accounts is longer.
Review by: David Gareth J, February 2014
Very good walking tour. Guide was very informative and helpful
Review by: Shivum P, January 2014
think the guide could have put in a little more effort though
Review by: Minh Ngoc T, December 2013
I never like to visit cemeteries, but I took this tour to visit Evita Peron's grave. It turns out that it's a very interesting tour because there are a lot of story telling and each story is unique ! A place you must visit !
Review by: Raymond D, December 2013
Carlos gave me a tour and it was like someone was telling a story as we walked slowly amongs the tombs, the way he weaved in all the players in the cemetery and how many were related in some form or fashion. I learned so much and realized Carlos was so knowledgeable with the goings on with those now entombed in the Ricoletta Cemetary. He explained many of the meaning of the mausoleums designs and why they were designed in a certain way. What a delightful afternoon. I recommend this tour highly. Bring your camera! R. Dunlop

This tour is a must NOT miss when in Buenos Aries. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, witty and friendly, giving us an insider's view of the cemetery city and surrounds. If we had more time in the city, we would take the full day tour of the cemetery and the city walk tour offered.
Review by: hpbagroom, June 2013
We loved this tour!!! Martin was excellent and knowledgeable and humorous (but not in a disrespectful way)...We thought it was just the cemetery, but it was much more...We definitely recommend this tour with Martin!!!
