Mohammed Atef was an outstanding guide and is highly recommended. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and communicated the right amount of information. Ideal for those that want to skip the large groups found on the big tour buses.

This is absolutely the way to see three of the biggest attractions in Cairo and be home in time for dinner. We do not usually book private tours, but were so grateful we did in Cairo as the city is so packed and busy, it would be difficult to navigate on our own or to keep up with a larger group. Our guide was kind and knowledgable, picked us up at Katameya which is outside the city center, and even translated so we could haggle in the bazaar. I didn't deduct a star for this, but would recommend you not get the lunch that comes with this tour. It is clearly a restaurant catering to tour groups and was poor buffet quality.

I heard and read a lot of bad 'SCAM' experience in Egypt and during recent Europe travel viator was really satisfactory choice. But this time it was So Disappointed One to my family and friends who came to Egypt without using viator laughted us a lot.!!_br/_ I booked around 7 tours from viator but the price in logal compare with official website prices of local agencies who guided us was really shocking.. I can not understand the Commission of viator rate!! how it can be happen... Additionally, friends who booked from local hotels and agencies directly had a lot lower prices... I didn't even talk about it._br/_ For example2 adults and 1 child_br/_ - Pyramids sounds and Light Show: viator 12972 higher, local 75 _br/_ - 1 day tour Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Sakara: viator 225 80 higher, local 125_br/_ - Private day tour to Abu Simbel Temples: viator 25031 higher, local 190_br/_ - Day tour Alexandria Tour: viator 27530 higher, local 210_br/_ - Egytian Museum, Alabaster, Khan el-khalili: viator 240 92 higher, local 125

Another amazing experience. Was so impressed by the team that Viator set me up with. I am eager to book another adventure with them when I visit Athens later in the year. The guide was very knowledgeable when it came to the Egyptian Museum. I learned a lot from him about the history of Egypt. Enjoyed the Mosque and learning more about the history of it. The market was also a lot of fun. My guide even bought me a cup of tea at one of the local spots. A great experience that I would recommend to anybody! Thanks to all for making this such a wonderful trip!

We went with a qualified Egyptologist Mr Ahmed, and it was my sister and nephew and #39;s first visit to Cairo. The tour was amazing and Mr Ahmed had extensive knowledge of the history of the sites. He was also super patient with my young nephew. I highly recommend this to anyonr going to Cairo. Five stars!

Egyptian museum was amazing and really enjoyed and took advantage of the private time offered to walk around on my own. The Alabaster Mosque was interesting to walk through but a short visit. The market was typical, but interesting to see. The stop at the perfume shop was unnecessary and focused on a sale...but they made it somewhat interesting. The lunch was Ok/good...but overpriced. Definitely recommend using a private transfer and guide, it was a great and safe way to get around. Transfers were safe, air-conditioned and excellent. Pickup was about 30 min late due to heavy traffic getting into the city.

We spent another great day with our tour guide, Ossama - we reached the Egyptian Museum in the early morning and managed to enjoy the main area 2nd floor almost by ourselves.... what a treat! Then we visited the Alabaster Mosque and Ossama took us on a ride through history. We ended up the day with a walk through the bazar. W had a fantastic time in Cairo - definitely because of the amazing experiences the city can give you and in part because of our wonderful guide. Looking forward to the next trip to Egypt!

My wife and I were picked up at our hotel, and driven to the Cairo Museum. Sorry I don't remember our drivers name. We were dropped off and greeted at the entry by our guide for the tour, Morad._br/_ We were given a brief history of the Museum whilst in the grounds, and given an opportunity to take some photos of the exhibits that are in the grounds._br/_ We then entered the Museum. A word regarding photos inside the Museum. You need to pay a small fee and receive a ticket to take photos inside. This is not included in the entry fee. But we didn't see anyone asking to see the ticket?_br/_ Once inside Morad showed us around the majority of the general exhibits before heading upstairs to the King Tutankhamun exhibits. These are by far the highlight, and I recommend you spend the majority of your time here._br/_ The room with the Death Mask, coffins, jewellery is very special. But even with your photography pass, there are no photos to be taken in here._br/_ For an extra fee payable inside the museum you can enter the Royal Mummy room. We didn't go in, so I can't comment._br/_ We decided not to go to the Alabaster Mosque or Bazzar due to having spent all of the previous day in Luxor and an impending Nile cruise that night. So, I cant comment on these attractions._br/_ Overall, the Museum is great, especially the King Tut exhibits. The Death Mask was the highlight for us.

Truly an incredible sight and totally amazing place to visit, and one of the best place to visit. Starting off with the Egyptian Museum which gave us an amazing opportunity to witness first hand the wonders of an ancient civilization plus the great highlights emphasized by the young Egyptologist which have amazed us more about the Egyptian Ancient Civilizations. Would highly recommend friends and colleague to take up this tour package before approaching the Pyramids.

The Museum is very interested and worth the visit. The mosque is old compared to others in other countries and the bazaar is like any other souk in other Middle East countries. Could spend more time at the Museum since there is so much to see and learn.

REALLY enjoyed this!! I was picked up on time. My guide Hammad was FANTASTIC. He really knew Egyptian history, culture, etc. He could tell me so many interesting facts about the main pieces in the Egyptian Museum. He answered every question I had. I was very impressed with his knowledge and patience. My tour included a stop at a perfume shop and papyrus museum/shop. As the only person in the group, I had the power to say I wanted to skip the trip to the market. The whole tour was worth the price. LOVED IT. Thank you.

The tour was over priced but worth a shot. Henry (tour guide) was co operative and knowledgable as well. For the same price, Viator should include Al Azhar mosque as part of it. The lunch was nice and cozy._br/_ Henry took me to a nice perfume shop that was incredible.

This was a wonderful tour. We were extremely fortunate to have Henry Ayoub as our guide for two days in Cairo. Because of the elections we had to modify our original itinerary, but Henry's recommendations meant that we did not miss anything. Next time in Egypt we will use South Sinai Travel and especially Henry Ayoub.

Henry Ayoub is an incredible guide, and we feel extremely lucky to have had his expertise while we were in Cairo. South Sinai Travel is excellent and we shall make sure to use them next time we go to Egypt. Thank you all.

Our tour guide barely had anything to say and was in a hurry to go through the entire tour. After the mosque, he forced us to go to the market place where we didn't care to go. There were more than enough markets around our hotel, but he insisted that we stop by for 30 minutes. Really, he just wanted to drink coffee and read a paper. It's better to go on your own than with a tour guide.

Enjoyed every minute of it. The Museum has so much to see you will want to return. The bazaar was fun and colourfull. Let the guide do the haggling if you buy anything you will save a few dollars.

Our guide Fayod was unbelievable, he was knowledgable, fun, funny and relaxed, he didn't force us to do anything, took us to some great places and even gave hell to some store owners who were quoting us ridiculous prices on Scarves. It was great, he just started giving these guys crap in Arabic and they gave us killer prices after. If booking in Cairo only ask for this man as he is the best.

Great tour. We had Hani as our guide and Zeku as our driver. Both extremely friendly and courteous. Hani is very knowledgable and willing to go outside the tour itinerary to personalize our tour. It was sad that the museum was so desolate (given the low tourism in Egypt right now) but I have to say that it was really nice to have the place pretty much to ourselves. Breathtaking to see King Tut's posessions. Khan el-Khalili was fun but be prepared for very pushy vendors. The mosque is gorgeous.

Quite interesting tour, but following must be taken into account:_br/_ You must demand all 8 hours, as 6 will not be enough. Everything depends on Cairo traffic, which can be worse than traffic in UK._br/_ At Egyptian Museum, the Mummies exhibition is the MUST, very interesting but requires at least one extra hour and additional ticket at extra cost._br/_ You probably want to spend as little time as possible at the Mosque, as there isn't that much to see there. _br/_ The most interesting part of the tour was the market, so much to see... Loved the antiques shops that you will find quite a few. I would say minimum 2 hours or more needed at he Khan el-Khalili. _br/_ I wouldn't go with lunch option as this counted as part of your tour, and takes another 1.5 hours or so of your sightseeing, if possible grab yourself a sandwich there will be plenty of time to eat whilst in the car in between viewpoints. _br/_ Otherwise thumbs up for Viator, quite efficient and organized.

Collection worked smoothly and the guide was courteous. We met our Egyptologist at the Cairo Museum and she was informative and helpful. We had interesting chats about life in Egypt between visits. She should perhaps have prevented me from getting involved with a chap who wanted me to change UK £ for Egyptian as I later learnt that this can be a scam! We had an enjoyable day.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR with this company. All they want to do is get as much money out of you as humanly possible. They'll even set it up so that they take you to their friends/families' shops to trap you into buying stuff when they tell you you're going to the bathroom. If you don't believe us, take the tour. When you end up at a carpet factory and a paparus shop, then you'll see we're telling you the truth. These people are unbelieveable! Given the very crappy service they provided, they'll tell you that you NEED (not should) give them VERY LARGE TIP as this is expected given they only work off of tips! They complained that the company pays them too little to live on. As if we had the word "Idiots" written on our foreheads!! Also, be mindful if you're female. They are very demeaning toward women. It may just be cultural (of Egyptians), but either way, it's not pleasant at all. This tour guide made it such an unpleasant experience, we don't recommend anyone visiting Eygpt in general. Honestly, this is the worst place in the world we have ever visited, and we are very well-traveled.
